Beth & Kyle met through mutual friends in Indianapolis a few years ago, partially thanks to Kyle's infamous Indiana football tweets, Union Jack Pub, and a party where Kyle didn't know anyone at all in 2019. Fast forward a year, Beth was coming to Kyle's rooftop to regrettably watch Indiana football games with friends in the fall of 2020. After one of those weekends, Kyle spotted Beth on Hinge and was interested, but, in typical form, far too much of a coward to do anything about it. A few days later while working late, a couple glasses of red wine gave Kyle enough courage to fire off a message to grab drinks. Bundled up in several layers, they went on their first date, sitting outdoors on a cold, late fall Friday night a few days later. They've been together ever since. The two got engaged on the cliffs overlooking Narragansett Bay in Newport, Rhode Island on July 30. Newport, a summer home to Beth's mother Lori and permanent home for twin brother Rob, is like a second home to Beth & Kyle. They spend summer weekends and Christmas time there each year, where you can likely find Beth out on a jog on Cliff Walk and Kyle refusing to shut up about the history & beauty of the site of the first ever U.S. Open, Newport Country Club. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana who spent her middle years in suburban New Jersey, Beth was recently promoted to Audit Manager at major international accounting firm KPMG. Racking up award after award for her long hours in the grueling busy seasons of January-April every year, Beth also manages a series of other extra roles at the company: from owning the social calendar for the Indianapolis office to facilitating courses at KPMG's Orlando training center. She holds bachelors & masters degrees in accounting from Indiana University Bloomington, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. In her spare time, you'll find her whipping up homemade margaritas for house guests and showing her tribal-like devotion to her other number one love in her life: her Peloton. Kyle is a native of Bedford, Indiana. He never practiced law, lucking into a job as the first employee of legal software startup PactSafe while still finishing his law degree. He fell back into his pre-law school career of sales there after a bit, rising through the ranks to VP Sales at the company. PactSafe was successfully acquired by San Francisco-based Ironclad in early 2021, where Kyle works today as Head of Sales for the Clickwrap business line. He graduated from his beloved DePauw University in 2013, where he met a pack of football players that would become lifelong friends in Delta Tau Delta Fraternity & played two-ish hungover seasons on men's golf team. He added a law degree from Indiana University Bloomington's Maurer School of Law in 2017. Today, he suffers from an insatiable addiction to distance running, Indiana Hoosier football, and telling Beth about things he saw on Twitter that day. They live in Indianapolis with their fur baby, the beloved house cat Gigi. They also share custody (with Beth's mother) of 2-year old golden retriever Janie, who loves any and every opportunity for a long Monon walk with Kyle that ends in a plate full of brisket at Half Liter.
