Maid of Honor
Don't let this little innocent looking lady fool you. She is dangerous with a forklift! When one of the best stories you get to talk about how you met one of your best friends is, "You see we were working at Lowe's together, and while talking about moving things around she took off the parking brake on the forklift and low and behold it rolled on my (the grooms) foot. Panicking, she went to back up, running over my foot again. I still can't feel my toe, but she's been my best friend ever since. After a small vacation to Burleson, Tx I was able to introduce Skylar to my bride and the two became fast friends, picking on me and scolding me together not even 10 minutes later. Their friendship is amazing and the two plot against me at every chance they have, including coming down to Wichita Falls for the first time since leaving our old job as a surprise she planned with my future wife for my birthday.
Best Man
Not much of a story here, I (The groom) met the antelope at The Annex in 2021 working as a JTO and he was one of my first new boots. My mother has a great story about Antoline and Beretta our pit bull, right before he went into the navy we decided to have a night out so being responsible we just decided to crash at the house, I was in my room and he was out in the living room on the couch, this baby puppy laying on top of him. Long story short, there was a issue and the cops came to do a welfare check and Baretta guarded her new little friend from the cops while we both slept thru it all. He’s been part of the family ever since, makes sense my brother stands besides me on such a special day.
