Not an ordinary hotel. Built in 1883 as a private residence and converted into a hotel in 1957, the Columns turns 140 years old this wedding season. The Columns has recently changed ownership and was completely remodeled in 2019. Hotel rooms are not handicap accessible. An antique and fashionable feel, with original brass room keys. This hotel is home to the famous Jack Rose restaurant and Hot Tin rooftop bar. On the main level you will find the Bayou Bar where live jazz is hosted Tuesday through Saturday each evening. We have reserved a number of rooms at this location. The attached link (click "VIEW") will take you directly to the Whitmire-Beker reservations page. Or, if you prefer to call to make your reservations, please let the reception know you are with the Beker party. Transportation is provided (Jazzy Transportation Limousine & Shuttle) from the corner of Josephine Street and St Charles Ave. starting at 5:30pm and will run service to-and-from evenrs, all night, both Friday and Saturday.

There are no room blocks for this hotel. First come, first served.
