WHERE IS THE RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are conveniently located in the same spot — The Haight in Elgin, IL. Cocktail hour and dinner will immediately follow the ceremony. Once formal invitations are sent out, more details on time will be available.

ARE KIDS ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING?

Answer

No, unfortunately not - our wedding is adults only. We love your kids, and wish we could accommodate everyone but due to venue constraints, we have limited space. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Answer

Several public parking lots are available near our venue located throughout downtown Elgin with overnight parking for up to 72 hours.

ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION LOCATIONS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Answer

Yes, there is an elevator available to those that may need it.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE WEDDING?

Answer

If you booked a room through our block at Comfort Suites, yes! There will be free shuttle transportation to and from the venue. If you decide to stay elsewhere, UBER/Lyft or taxis will be your best method for getting to the venue.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

Can I Bring a Date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

I HAVE FOOD ALLERGY, CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Answer

Of course! When RSVPs become due, you will be given the option to list any food allergies or dietary restrictions and our caterer will gladly accommodate your needs.
