Wear your finest eagles gear and get ready to celebrate both our the start to a weekend of celebrating our nupitals and the start to the 2024/25 season!
Game starts at 8:15PM. No Packers (or Cowboys) fans allowed! This will be a classic tailgate and as such, expect nothing fancier than some pizza and snacks ... it's what the Birds would want.

Bathing suits, sun protection, shoes suitable for getting messy, hat & a towel.
In order to get out to the very cool beach that looks out to the beautiful Tangier Sound you need to travel by boat. Janes Island has canoes, kayaks & paddle boards for rent but they are first come first serve. We advise you to get their early and rent one for the day. If you have your own kayak or paddle board we recommend you bringing it for the weekend so that folks who don't have them can have access to the ones that can be rented. The state park is right on the bay which comes with many positives (hello beautiful sunsets and the intoxicating smell of the salty sea air) but also means it may be buggy. Please utilize your bug spray of choice.
