Hannah and Olivia worked in the Center for Hearing and Deafness lab at UB together, but did not become formally friends until during the pandemic! Hannah reached out to Olivia to go out for dinner and meet up and they have been best friends since! Hannah and Olivia love tacos, margaritas, cats, puzzles, reading, and talking about anything and everything. Olivia is so thankful to have Hannah by her side!
Michael Belmont
Best Man
Michael Belmont and Matt started off at RAs together at UB. Since then their friendship has grown and they are travel buddies. They have fended off bears in the Adirondacks, white water rafted in West Virginia, and explored cities like NYC and DC. Matt is so happy to have Michael standing beside him on his special day.
Maddie Almeter

Maddie and Olivia have been friends since college when they lived next to each other in the dorms at UB! They were roommates from sophomore year all the way until 2020 when Maddie moved to Kentucky for her pharmacy residency! Olivia is a proud aunt to Maddie's dog, Opie, and is so glad to have Maddie back up in NY for her wedding!

Gwen and Matt have been friends since middle school! We enjoy hosting Gwen when she comes out to visit us in Buffalo. She is a talented typist and artist and has always been supportive of Matt and Olivia.
Maddy Hawkes

Maddy and Olivia have been friends since high school, running cross country and having classes together. Maddy moved to Pennsylvania for college while Olivia went to Buffalo, but they have always had the type of friendship where they are able to pick up where they left off, no matter the amount of time in between.
David Estrada

David and Matt have been friends since business school at UB, and have been coworkers for no less than 3 different jobs. We’re so lucky to have David celebrate with us!
Hailey Pytel

Hailey and Olivia have been friends since grad school studying audiology! Hailey and Olivia have bonded over loving the great outdoors, musical theater, and dogs. They have spent late nights talking on the phone and Hailey has hosted Olivia out in Glens Falls, NY for a girls' weekend once!
John Bisognano
Groomsman
John and Matt have been friends since high school. They ran cross country together and have maintained a "cross country" friendship. We are so glad John is able to join us from California!
Marie Cupo
Bridesmaid
Marie is Matt's older sister and we are so happy to have her standing up with us! You can find Marie running up and down the mountains of her Vermont backyard in the spring, summer, and fall, and also skiing down them in the winter. Sometimes Matt and Olivia are able to join her for a race!
Macrae Kozody

Macrae is Olivia's younger brother. He loves his sister so much he followed her to UB for his undergraduate and graduate career. Macrae joins Olivia and Matt for climbing outings, game nights, and carpooling back to Rochester for holidays. They are so proud of him for getting into medical school and so happy he has been a part of their engagement and wedding.

Kelly is Matt's younger sister and was one of the first bridesmaids Olivia asked. We are so happy to have Kelly be a part of our special day!

Michael is Matt's younger brother and has always been welcoming to Olivia when she started showing up at Cupo family events. We’re so happy to have Michael be a part of our special day!

Father of the Bride
Mr. Kozody is the father of the bride and has promised the bride that he will not cry (much) during the ceremony and reception as the bride has spent a good amount on her makeup and does not want it to smudge when she subsequently cries as well. Thank you so much for hosting our reception, Dad!

Mrs. Kozody (or lovingly Mama K) has been so supportive through our whole wedding process. It was so special to have her there when Olivia picked out her wedding dress and to have been an amazing role model, not only as a wife, but also as a mother. We love you Mom, thank you for all you do!
