We are fortunate to be served by two airports that will bring you directly to the Florida sunshine: Tampa International Airport (TPA) and St. Petersburg International Airport (PIE). Both airports are centrally located, approximately 45-50 minutes from the Beach. All major carriers fly through TPA; Allegiant Air into PIE (coming out of Michigan and a few other states).

Alden Resort

Please call the Alden using the phone number above to make hotel reservations for your stay. They have graciously offered us a 20% discount off room rates by honoring the Florida Resident Rate for our wedding guests. Rates (not including fees and taxes): Poolside King Bed Studio - 215.20 Poolside One Bedroom Suite - 231.20 Deluxe Gulf Front Suite - 255.20 Premium Gulf Front Suites - 279.20 Parking fee of $15 per night and resort fees will be waived for all guests with reservations. Please DO NOT book online, but rather, call the in-house reservations desk to book your room directly. The group rate will not be available online or through their after-hours call center. Call any day between the hours of 8am-4pm. The Alden does not hold rooms, so you will need to call and book the room/suite of your choice ASAP for best selection. They do require a one-night room & tax deposit. You have 48 hours prior to your check-in date to cancel for a full refund.

Our favorite way to travel! Although we have reserved a block or hotel rooms for guests that want to stay at the Alden Resort, there are many other options for you to stay in and around St. Pete Beach and St. Petersburg, especially if you prefer something other than the beach or a hotel. We highly recommend AirBnb! It helps lower travel costs, and you live like local during your vacation! Also, you can share larger spaces with friends, if you want to travel together. Chances are you will need a vehicle, depending on where you stay. But remember that Lyft is always an option! Use the Lyft code in the next section for a special wedding discount.

Carpooling is highly suggested (help reduce carbon footprint and costs!), as beach parking is scarce and expensive! Plus once you get to the beach, you're not gonna wanna leave!

Travel Note

Beach Parking

Parking on the beach can be difficult, especially without a hotel reservation. We highly recommend using Lyft or carpooling to the beach, especially if you are local. You can even park your car at our house and Lyft from there (we're just 8 minutes away from the beach). If you're a guest at the Alden with a confirmed reservation, the Alden is waiving the parking fee for the duration of your stay. All other guests will need to secure off-site parking at their own expense.
