Randi and I met through a mutual friend at church, and shortly after, I moved in with her. We have now lived together for almost six years! She is the type of friend who is up for any adventure big or small (including but not limited to Oktoberfest, skydiving, museums, rugby games and wine country) and you can count on her for absolutely anything! Time and time again she has been my sounding board, my voice of reason, and continually points me to God. Randi has a huge servant's heart, and she has been a great friend to both me and Jake from the beginning.

Best Man
Scroggins was my small group leader in college, and very few people have had such a big impact on my love for Jesus. I wouldn’t want you to think, though, that when I travel through the Great Nothing that is West Texas to go see him that I’m visiting my old small group leader; I’m doing something much more important: visiting my best friend. Through the ups and downs of the past decade and a half, Scroggins has been there to rejoice with me, weep with me, fume with me, and (maybe most importantly of all) laugh with me.

I met Brette in 2013 while on the World Race. We traveled the world together serving and adventuring, and growing a deep friendship. And that friendship has continued through the many seasons of life since our time abroad. Brette is such a great supporter, an incredible mother of two beautiful girls, and one of the strongest people I know.

Boo calls Ohio home, but for an all too brief moment he lived in Houston, Texas. During that year and a half, Boo and I forged a friendship over bike rides, brewery trips, church small groups, and trying to figure out the absurdity of adult life. This friendship has outlasted his stay in Houston, and he is still one of the best friends I’ve ever had.

Jill is not only my sister-in-law, but also a friend I am so grateful for! Since the moment I met her, I've gotten to experience her genuineness and compassion. Jill cares so deeply for the people around her. She has such a great ability to connect to anyone and finds a way to bring joy to almost any situation. I feel so blessed to have her in my life.

Randy I met through our student ministry in college, and quickly became best friends. He was the Shawn Hunter to my Corey Mathews. The Turk to my JD. With all the fun we had, it’s a miracle both of us graduated. More than a decade later, catching up with him feels like we haven’t missed a beat.
