Kai is very friendly and playful. He is a cattle dog and with that, there are some mannerisms that we have worked on but are still working on. Kai loves kids, he loves to run with people, he gets super excited at times, and he loves to hug people. If he sees someone running he may start barking as he is a cattle dog. He also may bark at you, please do not be alarmed, we are trying our best to work on it but he does tend to bark at new people when he wants to meet them and be pet. We will have his training collar on him, please do not take it off of him, it will NOT shock him, it will only beep at him or vibrate. This is used to deter him from certain actions, to help him learn, and to help us train him. If you have any questions about Kai that have not been answered here or under our wedding party's bio please feel free to ask us. (If you are allergic to dogs, please let us know so we can accommodate for you)
Kimberly Rose and Morgan Kane were introduced by one of her co-workers and one of his high school classmates (Allison) on May 20, 2022. The two started talking through Snapchat and about a week and a half later had their first date at Cedar Point, Cedar Shores, and finished the date playing Box hockey, scrabble, and uno at her parent's house. On June 11, 2022, he asked her to be his girlfriend after he built a yellow Lego Toyota supra while sitting in her car in a furniture store parking lot in Sandusky. After spending their whole summer together at the pier, Cedar Point, different fairs, and each other's houses she went back to school for Massage Therapy. Morgan would help her study, assist her with her homework, and even let her practice on him. Rose's Grandpa passed in March 2023 after struggling with health issues, between Morgan living closer to her clinical sites and him helping her through the rough time of losing her grandpa Rose moved in with Morgan and his family. On the last day of May in 2023 Morgan and Rose arrived in Oliver Springs, TN where they visited Windrock Park and went camping and off-roading the next day they traveled to Rock Island State Park for another night of camping as well as to walk trails and go swimming in the "lake" as they called it, on the third day they went to Look Out Mountain, TN, and GA and almost ended up in AL due to a misplaced map pin that Rose placed. They then ventured their way up to Lynchburg where Morgan toured the Jack Daniel's Distillery, after the tour they drove just north of Nashville to visit Morgan's aunt Holly and her family. While visiting they went and saw the Grassmere Zoo, Marathon Motor village, Opry Mills Mall, Broadway, they visited Cooter's garage (the Duke's of Hazard museum), The Willie Nelson General Store, and The John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. When visiting the bridge as they just started making their way back down Morgan proposed to Rose, on the way back to Holly's they were face timing and texting all of their friends and family to announce the news. A few weeks pass by and Holly called Morgan about a job opening that was where her husband worked, knowing that Rose really wanted to move to TN some day. Morgan applied for the job and they waited, after not hearing much for weeks they decided to take a trip back to TN for a few days so they could look for jobs. On their way to and from they stopped at Kings Island, and when they got back home they had both been offered new jobs and started preparing for their engagement party and their move to their new home. Morgan and Rose ended up finding their apartment in Hendersonville, TN and have already had friends and family both come and visit them!
Our first pet was a guinea pig Morgan got, his full name is Peanut Butter Fudge but we call him Fudge, we got him in October 2022. Our second pet is a Border Collie Texas Heeler (1 part Australian Shepperd, 1 part Australian Cattle Dog) named Kai which we got in February 2023. All of our pets we have had during our relationship have been some form of rescue ranging from rehoming to pet stores not being able to sell them for specific reasons. They are now all part of our little family, while we are outnumbered by feathers and fur we greatly love all of our pets. During our reception, we will be having a Dollar Dance and Jell-o shots for sale in which part of the proceeds will go to The Humane Society of Erie County
