1:30 pm
As far as dress code goes, please dress in something comfortable, not too casual and not too formal. We recommend comfortable footwear. Keep in mind that as a state park, there are roots, rocks, and uneven ground. There are no paved paths. Sebago Lake often has a warm breeze.
A Couple of Things About Sebago Lake State Park: -There is often a line of cars waiting to get into the park. Generally speaking, the line moves somewhat quickly but please plan your travel time accordingly. - The park is approximately 50 minutes from Portland. For family and friends traveling from the Farmington area, it is about an hour and forty minutes. -As we all know, Maine Weather can change very quickly. Where this is an all outdoor event, we recommend coming prepared. As mentioned above, sometimes there is a nice breeze coming off of the lake. What's nice to some might not be nice to others. We'll be watching the weather as the Big Day approaches and will send out any important "heads ups" as necessary however we definitely recommend our guests keep an eye on the weather as well.
2:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Immediately following the ceremony, we will be celebrating! -We will be serving food! With help from family and friends, this will be a "strategic potluck" and there will be a variety of foods. As we have several friends and family members with different diets, there definitely should be something for everyone there but if you have a specific allergy please let either Brendan or Kelsey know ASAP! -We will provide bottled water, sodas, and other non-alcoholic beverages. **Please Note: As a state park, alcohol is prohibited. -There will be music! -There will be lawn games! **Parts of Sebago Lake State Park can get very buggy. If you're able to, we recommend bringing bug spray. If you're not able to bring bug spray, we will be able to provide some! -The park closes at 8 pm so we must say our goodbyes around 7:30 pm. At this time, there are no plans for an after-party.
