Lauren Morris

Maid of Honor

Lauren is my absolute best friend. We traveled around Europe together in the summer of 2008 and instantly became close as we met everyone by asking if they liked our water bottles. That was only the beginning of the crazy times we have had. We became roommates at UofL and lived together for 5 years. We were, and still are, pretty inseparable. Lauren is a fantastic music teacher! We love game nights, trying to cook new things, shopping, laying at the pool, and going on adventures (our most recent adventure being skydiving)! Lauren is also very creative and has helped out with every detail of our wedding. I've loved growing up with her and I wouldn't know what to do without her!

Emily Smith Hawboldt

Bridesmaid

I met Emily in the UofL marching band mellophone section. We were fast friends as we bonded over doing crazy things (the moonwalk) and being the best marching band members. This lead to hanging out more often and becoming roommates for a year! Some of my favorite memories with Emily have been traveling to St Louis for a day trip (walking 30,000 steps), soccer Sundays, baseball games, buying Columbia jackets, and brewery visits. We even have a great time doing homework at the library or a coffee shop together. No matter what we do, it is never boring! #HussyHustle

Shannon Christian Burt

Bridesmaid

Shannon has been my best friend for about 20 years! Our elementary days were spent driving our parents crazy at sleepovers, exploring the woods, and blowing things up with firecrackers. We have always remained close even after I moved away from home in middle school. We also frequently enjoy knee boarding and tubing at the lake, shopping, and any outdoor activities. Even though we don't see each other often, it is always like no time has passed when we do get to hang out!

Kristine Chandler

Bridesmaid

I met Kristine through mutual friends and so glad I did. We always have a great time together no matter what we are doing! We love sharing wine, shopping, and playing games with the fam. Some of my favorite memories have been attending a Shania Twain concert, ringing in the New Year multiple times, Oaks Day, and Thunder Over Louisville. Kristine always keeps it real and I can talk to her about anything and everything!

Megan Rose

Bridesmaid

I met Megan in high school but we didn't become close friends until we were in the UofL marching band clarinet section together. Our friend group started by going to Mcallister's every Friday of college and playing Mario Kart. We still hang out frequently having game nights, pumpkin carving each fall, making gingerbread houses, and are still frequent visitors to Mcallister's. Megan is a teacher as well and we always share our crazy teaching stories!

Gabrielle Pennington

Junior Bridesmaid

Gabby is Kendrick's cousin. The first time I met Gabby, she had me playing spies and crawling around the floor at their grandparent's. Gabby is very outgoing and fun. She is always up for game nights and trying new games just like me!

Jake Farmer

Best Man

Jake is not only my best friend but more importantly, my brother! We first met in the summer of 2001 at 4-H Camp and from then on, I knew I had a best friend for life. From adventures in the middle and high school band, working together at camp for 3 summers, to 5-day hikes in the Gorge, there isn't anything we couldn't get into and not have fun. I could go on and on about our friendship but I'll let him do that for you during his speech!

Justin Lumbard

Groomsman

Justin is my long-time friend from Ohio who lived right behind my dad. The summers I would spend up there were spent waking up early to start a new adventure with him. We were young entrepreneurs that started a lemonade stand and lawn mowing service that turned into what we thought was a fortune. Justin made my summers in Ohio very eventful and adventurous where we explored our imaginations of what we could build or do. Although we may be 3 hours from each other now, every time we see each other it's like no time has passed!

Logan Hyman

Groomsman

Logan and I first met on a gifted and talented trip in elementary school to Chicago. Our friendship grew in high school where we both found a common bond of playing ultimate. We were roommates at UofL for 2 years where we spent time having a lot of laughs and captaining our college team. Our apartment was one divided between a UK and UofL fan - don't hold that against him though! We now spend our time keeping up with our favorite team Man City and meeting up at breweries!

Mclean Shutt

Groomsman

I met Mclean my sophomore year at UofL during our drumline camp. We immediately became bros and haven't looked back since. Both of us are avid Louisville Cardinals fans and we have traveled with the marching band to bowl games in Charlotte, Orlando, and celebrated New Year's in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl on Bourbon Street. Mclean is definitely a people person and was my connection to The Fam. He likes to make sure we are planning times to spend together and that everybody is enjoying themselves!

Jamal McFarland

Groomsman

I met Jamal through Mclean because they were roommates. I would go over and hangout beating him in FIFA while I got destroyed in 2K. He's not a fan of ultimate - you should ask him why! Now, we all spend time together with The Fam celebrating birthdays, winning money at Oak's Day, having cookouts and ringing in the New Years together. Jamal is very strong-minded and smart. It's easy having a friend like him because he keeps it real.

Chris Howlett

Groomsman

Chris lived a floor below me at The Bellamy, and turns out we also had mutual friends. If you don't know Chris, trust me, you will after this wedding. He knows how to have a good time and has no problem speaking his mind. Also a member of The Fam, he has been there the past few years to add his own flair to whatever we get into. I've never seen someone have so much confidence in themselves and not be afraid to possibly fail, and I think that is what impresses me most about Chris. If you see him singing or on the dance floor, be prepared.
