Rachele met both Kendra and Jarrod at work. She actually knew Jarrod before Kendra and found it really neat when she figured out work's worst-kept secret that Kendra and Jarrod were dating! Kendra and Rachele's friendship started with conversations at work where they realized they quite enjoyed each other's company! Rachele kindly asked Kendra to hang out outside of work and their friendship blossomed. Together they tried new restaurants, got their nails done, went for coffee dates, weekly walks, ran a 5K, and Rachele even attended one of Kendra's Body Combat classes! Rachele and Kendra realized they were "stronger together" in fitness and in life!
Brian Marsh
Best Man
Brian and Jarrod met in 2009 when they began working together in a basement, lovingly termed "the dungeon", with another dude. Brian spent most of this time trying to persuade Jarrod the Redskins are a better football team than the Giants and though these two should be mortal enemies, a friendship was struck up. Notwithstanding his irrational love of the Redskins (aka the Commanders), Brian is a swell dude who would give you the shirt off his back and do anything for a friend, as exemplified by his ability to humor Jarrod's love of 80s hair metal for over 15 years now. He has mastered the art of cupcake tasting and is a friend to all cats.

Steph was a fellow teacher Kendra met in 2009, Kendra's first year of teaching. Kendra believes Steph was that person put into her life at the exact time and place when she needed someone to go through life with her. Steph and Kendra bonded through their teaching journey, good days and bad. They always knew they could show up on each other's doorstep no matter the time of day or night. They traveled to a second school together and leaned on each other in work and in life. They became buddies and life-long friends. The laughter was and is always contagious every time they get together. It's the ab-hurting kind of belly laugh! Kendra can't wait to make more memories with Steph as they continue to take on life's adventures.
Clay Zuvich
Groomsman
Clay and Jarrod met around 2001 while attending Louisiana Tech University after Jarrod jokingly thought Clay only owned one shirt. While the shirt was a much-loved (and well worn) hard rock band shirt, Jarrod was "relieved" to discover Clay did indeed own other shirts and the two quickly bonded over lifting weights, running, and the joys of navigating dormitory life to include broken elevators, communal showers, and paper-thin walls. Quick with a smile and some sound advice, Clay is always up for a good time. Clay has always had the ability to remind Jarrod to not take life so seriously. He is Jarrod's best half-Asian friend and as a master gardener, someone Jarrod is counting on to feed him should the world end from a zombie attack.
Sarah Filimon
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Kendra met in 2010 when Sarah joined the elementary school where Kendra worked. Sarah and Kendra became friends out of the many hours they spent at school. They knew they could always find each other at the copier after-hours and even on the weekend - yikes! With a like-passion of teaching and similar taste in good food and ice cream, a friendship was born! The best of times was when Sarah and Kendra lived in the same apartment community together. Walking distance apart and walking distance from a Rita's Italian Ice, many memories were made. Sarah is a dear friend who is strong, loving, and always up for a Target trip. Some of the best times are doing life's errands with a sweet friend.
Nathan Doerr

All around good guy Nathan Doerr is the brother of the bride. A master gift giver and practical joker, Jarrod is already in fear of opening his wedding gift from Nathan based upon past experiences at Christmas. Nathan has a big heart and is passionate about helping others as well as having a glass of milk at dinner.
Dennis Doerr
Officiant
Dennis is the Father of the Bride who will not only walk Kendra down the aisle, but once reaching the end of the aisle, he will turn around and be the officiant! This has been a dream of Kendra's since she was a little girl, and it will be a very special moment indeed.
