Question

I thought you guys were already married?

Answer

We get this one a lot. No, we aren't married but we have been together a long time and we are looking forward to this joyous occasion and celebrating it with each of you. It is going to be epic!

Question

Where are you getting married?

Answer

6 Pastures Farm in Winchester, Virginia! Check them out! https://6pastures.com/

Question

Wait...you live in West Virginia but work in Virginia and are now getting married In Virginia too? Isn't that a long distance?

Answer

We get this one a lot too. We live about 25 to 30 minutes from Virginia and Maryland and about 45 from Pennsylvania. We live in what is termed "the Panhandle" of West Virginia. And yes, we know "Country Roads" by John Denver...please stop asking us this. It is like the West Virginia state anthem.

Question

What address do I use in my GPS for 6 Pastures?

Answer

300 New Six Pastures Lane, Winchester, Virginia

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

At the minimum, we ask that you wear clothes during all parts of the wedding events. Once you leave the wedding, we lift this requirement and you do you. Wear what makes you feel comfortable so you can have a good time. Seriously, you don't have to wear a suit, tie, or a dress. Come as you are and come to have fun!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony begins at 4:00 PM so please arrive by 3:40 PM. 6 Pastures locks the gates right before the ceremony begins as a courtesy to the couple. If you are late, we are going to make you unlock the gates and put the cows back out to pasture as penance for missing our ceremony!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available and you will be directed to the appropriate area by 6 Pastures staff. As we noted, the gates will lock once the ceremony begins. And you thought we were kidding... There will also be transportation from your hotel. See the "Hotel and Shuttle" tab for more information.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are kindly requesting this to be an adult themed event except for immediate family.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We already have a date - September 28, 2024! You can bring any other date you please except for this one.

Question

Where is your registry?

Answer

We are blessed to have our health and more items than we could ever need. We have asked all of you here to participate in our special day and have fun with us. It is our pleasure to host you. Therefore, we are asking you to not bring a gift including cash. If you feel so inclined, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. Unless you have an extra garage space available. Jarrod will accept that because he wants another vehicle and needs a place to store it.

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

Question

I have a food allergy or am a vegetarian, can I make a special request?

Answer

Hit us up if you fall into this category.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

This is a serious question? Yes, it will be open. We will have a supply of beer, wine, and liquor. We will also have non-alcoholic beverages for your enjoyment.

Question

Can I request a song at your wedding?

Answer

Sure. We do have a "Do Not Playlist" consisting of songs either we are tired of hearing, think should have never been made, or simultaneously fall into both categories. Examples include the songs "Mony Mony" by Billy Idol or "We Built this City" by Starship. If you request either of these songs (or similar awful songs) you will only be served pizza from Chuck E. Cheese, tap water, and rail liquors the rest of the evening.

Question

I've heard Jarrod's Mustang may be at the wedding. Can I drive it?

Answer

No. Jarrod and the Mustang have a "special" relationship much like KITT and Michael Knight in Knight Rider. No one can drive Jarrod's Mustang except Jarrod because the car has a state-of-the-art voice and action activated ignition system that is keyed to Jarrod's voice specifically with the code word phrase being a request to play "Still of the Night" by Whitesnake while simultaneously putting on aviator shades
