How To Get To Martha's Vineyard?
Option 1: Fly to Martha's Vineyard Regional Airport (MVY). We recommend connecting through Boston Logan Airport (BOS). Option 2: Fly to Boston Logan Airport. Once there hop on your Peter Pan Bus from BOS to Woods Hole (about two hours). In Woods Hole, walk aboard the steamship authority ferry, and enjoy the 45 minute beautiful ride to Martha's Vineyard!

Steamship Authority Ferry - Woods Hole
Unless you are flying directly to the island you will need to take this ferry from Woods Hole (Falmouth) to Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven. Take a look at the schedule and make sure to line up your travel plans. You can park your car on the mainland and walk on, or make a reservation to take your car across. For car reservations booking opens Feb 14 at 0800.

Renting a house is one of the best ways to enjoy everything Vineyard life has to offer, especially if you're planning to make an extended vacation out of your trip. Airbnb and VRBO both have excellent options, or you can reach out to local rental companies such as Sandpiper Rentals or Tea Lane Associates. We recommend booking as soon as possible if you'd like to rent a house - rentals book quickly on Martha's Vineyard. We recommend messaging the hosts and confirming the dates as peak summer months often require a week booking.
