Question

Are the ceremony & reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors! Loft Lucia has a lovely terrace but we don't trust Chicago weather enough to bank on it being ok for an outdoor ceremony. The terrace will be open for our use and we encourage you to go check out the sights, but know you are covered, rain or shine.

Are the ceremony & reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Loft Lucia has 2 floors - we'll move between them for reception & ceremony. There is an elevator in addition to stairs. We'll have signs (@monksigns even?) to point the way.

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

Due to the venue, we've asked that only children aged 12+ attend, by invitation only. We'll be in a loft space with stairs, a high up terrace, rental glassware, etc., that make it not very child-proof! If you're traveling with children and need help securing childcare in Chicago, please let us know. Otherwise we appreciate you leaving the little ones at home and look forward to seeing you!

Is there parking at the venue?
