Maid of Honor
Kristin and Paige met in pre-school, were reunited again in third grade, and then in seventh, but it was in eight grade that they became inseparable. Whether it be their overachieving antics and late nights working on history projects, immersing themselves in theatre ( while play jazz-age jailbirds, Kristin shot Paige on stage in the performance Chicago), or their adventures across Europe during study abroad, Kristin and Paige always challenge each other and always happen to find themselves on an adventure.
Maid of Honor
Kristin and Beth were introduced at ages 4 and 3 respectively. Kristin spent much of her childhood with the Parks sisters. They would let their imaginations wander, and the 13 house cul-de-sac, also known as Austin Lane, became a magical land with fairies, leprechauns and dragon tears. They've remained close confidents and over the years, and their outings have shifted from seeking leprechaun dens to kayaking and 1920s themed parties. Their 26-year friendship has found success through active listening and hundreds of bags of Swedish Fish.
Best Man
Greg and Brett met “back in the day” in the early 2000’s at Lamoille Union High School in Vermont. They spent many weekends at the Tatro House. Popular activities included; playing video games, normally Mario related, or building a bonfire in the field right across from Greg’s parent’s house…..and sometimes that would involve drinking “adult-beverages.” Over the years, Greg and Brett have become best friends. They are still able to occasionally fit video games into their schedule, planning a few days in advance. Now they reminisce and discuss politics. Brett is proud to have Greg as his Best Man. Greg is someone that has always been there for Brett with support and a ready supply of puns.
Groomsman
Aaron and Brett both grew up in Jeffersonville, Vermont. They met in elementary school and quickly bonded over their love for soccer. As adults, they both ended up moving south and eventually becoming roommates in Dover, NH. Activities included a weekly carpool to their indoor soccer league, cross country skiing on UNH trails, and philosophical discussions over drinks. While they are living in separate states now, they are always texting about the latest game and will always carry hope that someday the US will win the FIFA World Cup!
Bridesmaid
Kristin and Katie met in DC while they were at George Washington University (GWU). While they both lived on GWU's remote campus in Northwest DC for their first year in small dorms right next to each other, they didn't meet until a year later. Looking for camaraderie and seeking like-minded friends at a school of 10,000, they became members of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, GWU's only community service sorority. Kristin and Katie have delivered food to the elderly, picked up trash at the Jefferson Memorial and relied on each other's counsel while navigating classes, internship interviews, and DC networking events overlooking the Washington Monument or the White House. While Kristin and Katie now find themselves across the country, they are always in touch.
Bridesmaid
Kristin and Kenzie both went to Newbury Elementary, but they became close in high school thanks to Triton's Theatre Department. They bonded over singing "Tradition" in Fiddler on the Roof and being selected as teachers with boring costumes while others got dazzling poodle skirts for Zombie Prom. Kristin and Kenzie navigated adulthood together in their early 20s with their first apartment in Beverly, keeping the heat at 63 and drinking Trader Joe's spirits. When Kristin and Kenzie get together to reminisce that will usually involve margaritas or white claws.
Officiant
You'll hear Kristin describe Erin as one of the funniest people she knows. While recovering from a surgery, Kristin had to cut Erin's visit short as it hurt to laugh and Kristin couldn't handle another minute. While most people's world's became smaller during the pandemic; Kristin and Erin (with significant input from Brett) kept sane by sending multiple snapchat videos, instagram memes, and analyzing every move Erin's black and white spotted cat, Helen, made.
