What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at the ceremony by 1:45 pm latest to ensure everyone is seated before our ceremony starts at 2 pm.

What are the directions to Columbus Club?
Answer
From Rte. 495 or points West of the Beltway: Take I-66 East to the Lee Highway exit. At the light at the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Lee Highway. Go approx. 2.0 miles and turn left onto Harrison Street. Go approx. 0.5 miles and turn right onto Little Falls Road. Proceed through the next light at Yorktown road. The K of C is at the top of the hill on the left. From D.C. or Rosslyn: Take I-66 West to the Sycamore street exit. At he end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Sycamore Street. Proceed thru the first light (Washington Blvd). At the second light turn right onto Lee Highway. Go approx. 2.0 miles and turn left onto Harrison Street. Go approx. 0.5 miles and turn right onto Little Falls Road. Proceed through the next light at Yorktown Road. The K of C is at the top of the hill on the left. From D.C. Across Chain Bridge: Go across Chain Bridge and keep to the left to stay on Glebe Road. From the light at the end of the Chain Bridge, proceed 1.8 miles and turn right onto Little Falls Road for approx. 0.6 miles and the K of C will be at the top of the hill on the right. From McLean or Tyson’s Corner: Take Rt. 123 to Old Dominion Drive, turn right onto Old Dominion. Follow Old Dominion to Little Falls Road. Turn right onto Little Falls, follow for approx. 0.6 miles and the K of C will be at the top of the hill on the right

AM I ALLOWED TO GO TO YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY IF I'M NOT CATHOLIC?

Yes! We welcome everyone to join us for our wedding ceremony, and we would be so grateful to have you there. This will be a simple ceremony and not a full mass, so Holy Communion will not take place.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Answer
No. While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event (21+) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us the entire night long!

ARE ANY EVENTS OUTDOOR?
Answer
Yes! The cocktail hour will take place outside on grass weather permitting, so ladies please plan accordingly for shoes that can keep you from sinking into the grass! In the case of inclement weather, we will move our cocktail hour inside to our reception space.

What is the easiest way to get to & from your ceremony and reception?
Answer
Alexandria and Arlington, VA, have an extensive network of Ubers, Lyfts, and Taxis. There is also an option in Uber/Lyft to schedule rides ahead of time, if preferred. There will be ample parking available at both the ceremony & reception venues. Both hotels on website to --> Ceremony: 15-minute drive Both hotels on website to --> Reception: 10-minute drive

Yes! There is ample parking available at the ceremony and receptions venues.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS ONE?
Answer
If your invitation has "and guest" written on the envelope, you are allowed to bring a plus one. If it does not, please be aware that there will not be any additional seating for uninvited guests.

What should I wear?
Answer
The attire is Semi-Formal. Men can wear a suit and tie; women can wear long or short dresses; and we encourage fun, bright Spring colors! Wear what you feel your best in! :)

What is the best airport to fly into?
Answer
The easiest and closest option is Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA). The 2nd closest option is Dulles International Airport. The 3rd option is Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI): please be aware that this airport is over an hour away from Arlington/Alexandria. All airports provide car rentals.
