Meet the Wedding Party!

Micah Saldivar

Best Man

Micah is one of those guys that you can't help but love. He cares deeply, loves strongly, and will do whatever you need him to out of love and care for you. Micah and I have known each other for years now, and I am always blown away at how cool, talented, and selfless he is. We were and still are in bands together, and we have spent many minutes turned to hours going back and forth about musicians, song ideas, production ideas for upcoming shows, and of course those deep conversations that hit home in the best way. Even after talking to Micah for a few minutes, I guarantee that you will experience that same love and kindness that I have experienced throughout my entire friendship with him. Micah is the kind of guy that will drop everything to be there for you when you need a friend, take you around town running errands with you when your car dies, and truly show you love unconditionally. Micah is someone that I do my very best to never take for granted, and I couldn't be more happy to have him be my best man.

Sandy Trieu

Maid of Honor

I met Sandy on the first day of college in our first class when all the seats were taken except for two. Those first day nerves quickly disappeared once we started talking and laughing together soon after. I can't believe seven years has gone by since that fateful day! Sandy has one of the kindest hearts that is perfectly balanced with her fierceness. She has always encouraged me to stand up for myself (and look fab while doing so as she has given me all the beauty technique knowledge I now possess). She and I share many friendship traditions like dressing up for the annual Congress Halloween party, spending way too much time on the claw machines and coin pusher games at the arcade, grabbing dinner and drinks at our favorite spots around town, and reaching out to one another whenever one of us is in need of a friend to listen and support. I am so proud of her incredible work ethic and all she has accomplished - she is now pursuing her masters degree in marketing! If you haven't already, I can't wait for you to meet my MOH Sandy!

Ryan Crandall

Groomsman

There's a lot that I can say about my brother, Ryan. Ryan and I did almost everything together growing up. We were members of the same drum line in high school as well as at the University of Arizona, we would frequent many coffee shops throughout our road trips to Southern California, and so much more. Being able to watch my brother grow into the mature, responsible adult that he has become has been more than humbling, and I cannot put into words just how proud I am of him. Ryan has stood by me through some of my toughest challenges, encouraged me to get through my lowest points, but has also celebrated with me at my highest highs and cheered me on when I needed it most. Ryan has an incredibly nurturing spirit, and anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him has had the opportunity to experience that. I was fortunate enough to have him as my brother, and I couldn't picture my wedding party without him.

Ivy Unwin

Bridesmaid

I love to joke and say I am a motherlike figure to Ivy but in many cases she has been the one "parenting" me. We met through our beloved church and first started talking when I trained her to operate media for the services. Once we realized how much we have in common (mostly our levels of silliness) we were instant besties. We soon became glued at the hip at every single church function. One of my favorite times in our friendship has to be the discipleship study we did together. We grew so much not only in our faith and relationship to Christ, but also in our level of trust and appreciation for one another. We love to just talk for hours at sleepovers, sing show tunes in Ivy's Jeep, and make up the most random inside jokes. Ivy has one of the biggest hearts and shows unconditional love and support for her friends no matter what. She also played a key role in the proposal by taking me on a girls day adventure that led me right to the spot where Sam popped the question! They pulled it off fabulously ;)

Benjamin Crandall

Groomsman

Growing up, my older brother Ben was always a sort of role model for me. He put on display how someone can have fun, but still remain determined to accomplish what you want. The majority of our relationship over the past number years has been from a distance, but Ben has always made a point to make the most of our time when we do get to hang out together. When we're in the same room, you can really see how related we are. We have a lot of the same mannerisms, quote a lot of the same shows, and how can I talk about one of my brothers without mentioning our shared love for coffee? There are few things I enjoy more in this life than hitting up a café early in the morning and chatting about whatever may present itself in any given moment with my older brother. Ben has taught me a lot about myself, life, and relationships, to a point where he has played a heavy role in shaping me into who I am today. This wedding would feel very incomplete without having Ben standing up there with me.

Mikayla Reuter

Bridesmaid

Mikayla (a.k.a Squirt) and I first met in Junior High when we were both going through those lovely tween years. We first crossed paths at a Bible Club meeting where she and another girl were leading discussions. I remember thinking, "dang this girl knows her stuff!" That sentiment couldn't be more true even today. We stayed friends throughout junior high, high school, and college and now here we are! She's that kind of friend where no matter how long it's been since you last saw her, it feels like no time at all has passed. She's been with me through many formative years and moments and I am so grateful for her encouragement, jokes, and support along the way. She is the Vine QUEEN (IFKYK) and we have spent many a night watching Vine compilations together and/or rom-coms. This girl studied hard and worked her way through nursing school to become an RN at in the orthopedic unit at Banner UMC! I trust her with my life both figuratively AND literally. You must say hello when you see her on the big day!

Justin Tomes

Groomsman

Justin is someone I consider to be one of my longest standing friends, another one of my brothers, and someone who couldn't care less about what's going on in the outside world when we get together and hang out. Growing up, Justin and I had spent a lot of time together given that we are cousins of a similar age. Through this, we grew to share many common interests. We would go to theme parks, ride bikes around the neighborhood, to now talk about all things music, listen to each others songs and give feedback to one another, and goof off when the time is right. Justin has matured into a determined, ambitious young man who has found something that he's passionate about and is running with it. Our relationship has grown along side the evolution of our lives, and Justin is someone that I am extremely honored to have as one of my groomsmen.

Grace Olson

Bridesmaid

Miss Amazing Grace! Growing up I always looked forward to seeing Grace and her sisters Claire and Emma at family gatherings. I sometimes wondered if I passed for an Olson sister alongside them... I can't tell you how thankful I am to have grown closer to Grace as the years have passed by. She is hilariously funny and one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet. I hold dear the spring break vacations she and her family would spend in Tucson in which we would take pictures with saguaros and cook dinner for our parents. Grace is a fun-loving gal and she even encouraged me to ride a Bird scooter around Atlanta. She does not know this, but I tried to act cool and like I knew what I was doing when in reality I thought I was going to die on that scooter after pressing the acceleration too hard. I live for the times when Grace fills me in on her college adventures and I hope she decides to move to AZ for grad school (no pressure!) She is beauty, she is Grace.

Jacob Tomes

Groomsman

Jacob is another one of my cousins, and we spent almost, if not just as much time together growing up as anyone else in my family. Jacob is someone who has very quickly become a faithful man of God, a family man, and a selfless servant to those around him, and does it with no motivation other than to help. I have had some of my most vulnerable conversations with Jacob, and every time we talk, I am always amazed at the amount of wisdom, knowledge, and truth he is able to not only share, but also give ways to apply it to my eact situation. Jacob never ceases to bring the fun, too. His sense of humor will leave you with an aching side, just gasping for air. He comes off as a serious, business oriented man, but when the time is right, he can light up a room with such little effort. We have shared so many key moments of our lives together, and being in my wedding is one of those moments that I couldn't imagine without Jacob as someone on that stage with me.

Dana Sokolowski

Bridesmaid

I am not lying when I say that I have always wanted to be just like Dana (and still do!) Growing up I was enamored with the artistry of dance - I am fairly certain that was inspired by Dana as she is a long time dancer. As long as I have known her, she has always been working on a new artistic project and putting her incredible imagination to work! One of my favorite memories with Dana is when she choreographed a dance for me and my elementary school best friend to perform at the 4th grade talent show. It was to LMNT's "Hey Juliet" and there was one move where she had me "blow a kiss to a cute boy in the audience" and I immediately made a disgusted face and we changed it to "blow a kiss to your mom." We have both come a long way! I am no longer afraid of cooties and Dana is living her best life in Atlanta with her also insanely talented and kind partner, Khadijah. I am so thankful for Dana's wild, creative, and sweet soul. She will also be the one to watch on the dance floor!!

David Anderson

Groomsman

Where do I start with my buddy Dave? Dave has been a huge inspiration for me in many ways. He's shown me how to take myself seriously as an artist, a musician, but also as a person. Dave and I have a long standing friendship that started years back when we were in a band called "Point and Clique" with my brother Ryan, and from that point forward our bond over music and goofing off has never broken. We've spent many nights staying up late either working on each others music, goofing around because we need a break from a chaotic week, or walking into a party 2 hours late because we couldn't decide if we were going to go or not. The stories that Dave and I share are quite honestly legendary, and I can always count on him to not only have a great time, but encourage me to be myself while doing it. Fun fact, Dave helped me write my song "Speak Tonight" 8 years ago when I was fresh out of high school! I think it goes without saying that I couldn't possibly have my wedding without Dave being a part of it.

Taylor Sokolowski

Bridesmaid

Taylor and her sister Dana always felt like celebrities to me when I was little. I am so thankful we have stayed close all these years. To me Taylor has always been the cool, sophisticated, older sister who went after her dreams and accomplished them with poise. I am so proud of the life she has built in Brooklyn with her lovely, kind, and caring partner Johanna. Sam and I often dream of becoming their neighbors someday! When I moved to NYC during summer of 2019, Taylor was there alongside me to show me the ropes of big city living and steal me away to visit with family. Two summers ago I made a solo trip to stay with Taylor and Jo and it was a trip I will never forget. Some of my favorite moments we shared are the simplest of ones like relaxing at the park or reminiscing about growing up as Meyer cousins while eating Thai food. I find that our time together is filled with non-stop laughter and reminds me how lucky I am to have her in my life.
