Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

Please use the RSVP page provided on this website (accessible by clicking the "RSVP" tab above). If you are having trouble with the online RSVP system, feel free to contact Keenan or Yunyun for assistance!

Question

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 31st, 2025.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! Plus ones are included by default in the online RSVP system as "Guest Name Unknown" and will be listed below the primary guest's name. If you are bringing a plus one, please select "will attend" on their behalf when you RSVP and add their first and last name. If you are not bringing a plus one, please select "will not attend" in the row for plus ones when you RSVP.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional, with at least formal attire requested. If you've got it, flaunt it!

Question

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Church of the Epiphany at least 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to allow ample time for finding seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Finally asking the important questions! We will have a seated dinner during the reception at District Winery. Entrees will be served tableside, and sides/salad will be served family style. No need to pre-select an entree - you can have any of them... or all of them! (Yes, really!) Throughout the evening, a variety of hors d'oeuvres and snacks will be available as well, in addition to an open bar.

Question

What if I prefer a vegetarian entree or have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Vegetarian entrees will be available if requested in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate all dietary restrictions. The RSVP page includes a comment box for requesting vegetarian entrees and sharing dietary restrictions. If you forgot to request a vegetarian entree or note a dietary restriction when you filled out the RSVP page, no worries - the system allows you to go back and edit your response!

Question

I need a hotel, where should I stay?

Answer

We have secured discounted room rates at two hotels located within walking distance of District Winery: the Thompson Washington D.C. (4-minute walk) and the Hampton Inn & Suites Washington D.C.-Navy Yard (8-minute walk). Links to access these room blocks are provided on the "Hotels and Transportation" page. Additional hotels located near District Winery include a Residence Inn, Courtyard Marriott, Homewood Suites, and AC Hotel. There are also a variety of hotels located in downtown Washington DC or across the Potomac River in Crystal City, VA.

Question

Will guest shuttles be provided?

Answer

Yes! We are planning to provide limited shuttle service for guests to both the ceremony and the reception on a first-come, first-served basis. Shuttles to the ceremony will depart from Navy Yard by 3:15pm and arrive at Church of the Epiphany by 3:30-3:45pm. After the ceremony, shuttles to the reception at District Winery will depart from the front of the church by 5pm. See the "Hotels and Transporation" page for additional details.

Question

What other transportation and parking options are available?

Answer

ARRIVING AT THE CEREMONY: There is no on-site parking at Church of the Epiphany where the ceremony will be held, and public parking in downtown Washington DC can be expensive. If you will not be riding the shuttle from Navy Yard, we recommend arriving to the ceremony via taxi, rideshare, or public transit. If you plan to drive to the ceremony, please see the parking suggestions below. GETTING FROM THE CEREMONY TO THE RECEPTION: Shuttles to the reception at District Winery will depart from the front of the church at 5pm. If there is no more space on the shuttles or you prefer to travel to the reception separately, it is approximately a 15-20 minute taxi or rideshare ride to District Winery. AFTER THE RECEPTION: The two hotels where we have reserved room blocks, Thompson Washington DC and Hampton Inn Navy Yard, are within walking distance of District Winery and can be easily accessed by foot after the reception concludes. PARKING: If you plan to arrive and depart by car, we recommend parking near District Winery where the reception will conclude. There is a 24/7 public parking lot (The Yards - Lot Q) located next to District Winery at 1480 4th Street SE. After parking there, it is approximately a 15-25 minute taxi/rideshare ride to the ceremony location, depending on traffic. You can also walk to the departure point for the guest shuttles, which will be nearby. Availability at this lot can be limited on weekends, so it's best to arrive early if you plan to park there. If the lot is full, there are several other underground public garages nearby. Alternatively, if you prefer to initially park near the ceremony location and then drive to the reception, there are a variety of public garages located near Church of the Epiphany. The closest garage is next door at 1325 G Street NW.
