The Wedding Website of Keeley Spence and Charlie Jensen
We can't tell you how much we appreciate you making the trip to wine country to help celebrate us. With that in mind, if you're able, we encourage you to extend your trip to explore and experience the parts of Napa Valley that we have fallen in love with. In the guide below, we have laid out our travel recommendations. You'll see suggested airports, rental car ideas, hotel blocks, and the fun part... some of our favorite wineries & restaurants!

Flight

Sacramento International Airport

SMF is the smallest and easiest of the 3 major airports around us. With that, it typically does not have quite as many flights to choose from. But, if you can get a good flight into SMF it is our suggestion. It is not in the Bay Area, so you won't have to contest with the crowds or traffic that can sometimes be associated with Oakland and San Fransisco. 76 miles ~ 1.5 hrs

Flight

Oakland International Airport

Oakland usually has the most direct flights from Kansas City and St. Louis. It’s about 70 miles (~1.5 hours) from Napa Valley and often less hectic than SFO. Great for rental cars or rideshare. Smaller airport = easy in, easy out!

Flight

San Francisco International Airport

SFO is the largest airport of the 3 options and is a very nice airport - beware, the rental car center here can be VERY crowded during busy weekends.

Rental Car

Turo

CA

If you would like to rent a car using an option outside of the traditional rental car companies, we suggest checking out cars on Turo, a peer-to-peer car rental platform. If you aren't comfortable using Turo, no worries, all of the airports have rental cars available!

Hotel

The Estate Yountville

6481 Washington Street
Yountville, CA 94599

This is where all of our wedding festivities will take place—including the welcome party and the reception! While most guests won’t be staying at The Estate itself (we totally get it—it’s Napa), we recommend booking accommodations nearby or within a 15-minute drive to make getting around easy. The Estate is located in the charming town of Yountville, which is incredibly walkable and home to some of the most iconic restaurants in Napa Valley—Bouchon Bistro, RH Restaurant, and The French Laundry are all just steps away. Our hotel blocks are located in the heart of downtown Napa, where you’ll also be able to walk to amazing restaurants, tasting rooms, and shops. It’s just a short drive to Yountville, and shuttles will pick up from these hotels to bring you to and from the events—so no need to worry about transportation.

Hotel

Andaz Napa, by Hyatt

1450 1st Street
Napa, CA 94559
 (707) 687-1234

We’ve reserved a room block at this hotel, located in the heart of downtown Napa—just steps from great shopping, tasting rooms, and incredible restaurants. If you’re a World of Hyatt member, this is a great spot to use your points! If you call and find that the block is full, don’t worry—just reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to add more rooms. It’s about a 15-minute drive to all wedding events, and shuttles will be provided to and from the venue.

Hotel

Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa

3425 Solano Avenue
Napa, CA 94558
 7072543350

is is one of three hotels we’ve chosen for a room block. It’s conveniently located in North Napa—about a 15-minute drive from all of our wedding festivities in Yountville. The area is super walkable and close to great restaurants, tasting rooms, and shops. Shuttles will pick up and drop off guests here, so no need to worry about transportation on the big day. Click the link to book directly into our discounted block of rooms—we’d love for you to stay here!

Hotel

El Bonita Motel

195 Main Street
St. Helena, CA 94574

While we’d love for you to stay at one of the hotels where we’ve reserved room blocks, we completely understand that Napa can be pricey. If you're looking for a more affordable option, El Bonita is a gem! It’s a charming retro-style motel in St. Helena—don’t let the word “motel” fool you. In Napa Valley, it means clean, cozy, and full of character. It’s super close to town and a great home base for exploring wine country!

Travel Note

Airbnb/Vrbo

If you’re considering booking an Airbnb or Vrbo instead of a hotel, we totally get it! Just a heads-up—short-term rentals in the upper valley (St. Helena, Calistoga, Yountville) are very limited due to local permit restrictions. You’ll have better luck finding availability in the city of Napa or farther south, where regulations are more flexible. This can be a great option for groups or guests looking for extra space and amenities!

Travel Note

Shuttle To and From the Ceremony

We will be providing shuttle transportation for guests to and from the wedding. While exact pickup times and locations are still being finalized, we recommend that any guests not staying at the hotels where we’ve reserved room blocks find accommodations nearby. Staying close to our hotel blocks will make it much easier to access the shuttle service and ensure a smooth arrival to the celebration.
