Can I bring a plus 1?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thanks for your understanding!

Are kids welcomed?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. This is an adult-only wedding and reception (18+). While we love your little ones, we’d appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Thanks!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
The deadline to RSVP is: November 1, 2021 You can RSVP online (via this website under the “RSVP” tab) or you can mail back the RSVP card (only if you received a paper invitation). What do I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
Please, just let us know by November 1, 2021! If you initially put NO and you later find you can attend, please email, text or call us ASAP so we can account for you!

In New Orleans you really never know! We encourage you to watch the forecast and prepare accordingly!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay
Answer
We do not have a hotel block for guests. We recommend booking an air b&b. If you’re looking to save money and tour New Orleans air b&bs are a great option!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?
Answer
Yes! Light hors d’oeuvres will be served along with desserts and drinks. We are having a alcohol-free wedding. Please DO NOT bring your own alcohol! We appreciate you!

May I take a centerpiece/flowers home as a souvenir?
Answer
Yes that’s perfectly fine! However, do so in moderation!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you post respectfully and tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #joiningthejenkins so we can enjoy all of your pictures too!

Can I “Facebook Live” the ceremony?
Answer
We have someone who will be on Facebook live for our virtual guests, so we’d prefer you not to video the whole thing as well. (Just so that other guests aren’t disturbed and can see everything). Feel free to Facebook Live at the reception!!
