Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:45 pm. Once the ceremony begins, you will not be let in to watch (as we will have people walking down the aisle and vendors walking through the space to record), so please be on time.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue does not provide parking options. However there are a few parking garages in the area and there will be limited street parking. Here is the information for three nearby parking garages: Edison Park Fast (Open 24 Hours) Address: 182 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11201 Phone: (888) 727-5327 Icon Parking (Open 24 Hours) Address: 197 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11201 Phone: (718) 643-1023 Cielo Garage (Open 24 Hours) Address: 189 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be semi-formal. Fall colors are encouraged but not mandatory. :) Again our color code is not strict, but we can recommend wearing color(s) in the neutral or earth tones family if you want to fall within wearing fall colors (no pun intended haha).

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be taking place indoors at Deity NYC, and there will be staff guiding you through each part of the night.

Question

What is the best way to RSVP? When is the deadline?

Answer

You will have to RSVP through the virtual invitation sent out to you. The deadline to RSVP is August 27th.

Question

What happens if I get sick near the time of the wedding, or on the day of the wedding?

Answer

If you are having any symptoms of an illness within one week of the wedding (or have a sickness such as a cold, flu, COVID-19, anything contagious, etc.), please inform us. We likely will have to ask you to not attend, as we would like the wedding day to be as safe as possible. We are also now asking all attendees to at least take a COVID-19 rapid test one to two days before the wedding date. This will be an honor system, so we trust that if you do not report anything to us, you took the test and the result was negative. But again, even if you test negative, if you are having COVID-19-like symptoms, please inform us. If you test positive for COVID-19 within a week of the wedding, please do not attend the wedding even if you are asymptomatic. If you have any questions about your specific case, please feel free to contact us directly so we can work on making a good judgment of next steps.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We really love the kiddos, but we will not be able to accommodate them.

Question

Can I invite a guest or replacement?

Answer

We are having an intimate wedding, so please do not forward your invite to anyone else. If you have a question about whether someone else was included in our guest list, please feel free to contact us directly.

Question

How do we get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Nearby trains include the A, C, and G trains at Hoyt-Schermerhorn. Nearby buses include the B63 and B65.

Question

What time does the event end?

Answer

The evening's festivities will end promptly at 10 pm and no later.

Question

How will updates or changes before the wedding be communicated?

Answer

Any updates and changes will be communicated through text and be changed on our Zola page if applicable.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes we do! You can check out the registry page on this website. We have three options available. You can either contribute to our couples fund, purchase a gift from our Zola registry, or an item from our Amazon registry (these items are shown on the registry page as well).
