YES! We ask that you please RSVP by mail with included stationary. This allows us to know how many guest to prepare for, meal choices, and budgeting. If you do not RSVP, we will assume you are unable to attend.
The venue is in Lexington, KY. On the same property at the Marriott resort. The address for both: 1800 Newtown Pike Lexington, KY 40511
They are being held at different locations at the same property. The ceremony will be located in front of the Griffin Gate mansion pending weather allows, the cocktail hour will be inside of the mansion & the courtyard beside the mansion, and our reception will be located in the Bluegrass Pavilion that is a short walk on the same property.
Yes! There is plenty free parking on the property for all guest.
We are planning to hold our ceremony outdoors if weather permits. Our cocktail hour and reception will be indoors. Outdoor areas available at the cocktail hour and reception for anyone who would like to get some fresh air.
This will be a formal event. We ask that guest wear formal attire (suit for men and cocktail dress/evening gown for women). Weather in Kentucky during October is unpredictable, so keep in mind the ceremony is planned to be held outdoors. As with any wedding — we ask that you do not wear white, ivory, or anything that could potentially be the same color as the Bride’s dress.
No. We are offering a room blocking at a discounted rate at the Marriott. Transportation will not be necessary for this resort — you will be steps away from it during all parts of the wedding. If you choose to not stay at this location, we will not be providing transportation. Uber/Lyft are great options.
You will have a plus one on your invitation if allowed. To avoid confusion, invitations are going to be written out by name of each person who is invited. Please respect that we have limited space and can only accommodate those formally invited.
Due to our space restrictions and an open bar environment, we ask that you do not bring children under the age of 18 unless you have spoke directly with the bride or groom. In that circumstance, the formal invitation will be extended by name to your child/children. We love your little ones, but tonight’s just for Mom & Dad!
Yes. Luke and I will providing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for our guest. Please take full advantage of our options available.
Of course. However, our actual ceremony service will be “unplugged”. Meaning, we ask that guest respect our photographer at this time to take care of our photographs. Please do not have cellphones out during the ceremony to avoid distasteful photographs of people holding up cell phones on our special day. We want everyone to be present and see/experience our special day through their own eyes — instead of a phone screen. We have hired the best of the best photographer, who will capture the entire ceremony perfectly. Other than the ceremony, take photos as you wish.
#AdamsAtLast We ask that you use our hashtag on your photos so we can see them easily!
