We don't have a gift registry; our current living situation means that we have everything that we need already in our home. However, for guests who would like to support us on our next great adventure, we will have a "honeymoon fund" box at the wedding. We would deeply appreciate a contribution to help us celebrate our marriage with a wonderful trip!
The dress code is dressy casual, so wear what you're comfortable in! The ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting) and then we'll be heading back to the Dubbel Dutch hotel for food, drink, and celebration.
If you're coming in from out of town, Milwaukee has AirBnB options as well as hotels for every budget and taste. We have a few suggestions within walking distance of the festivities on the "travel" page. Parking in Milwaukee can be a bit tricky and of course we want all our guests to be safe getting back to their lodging at the end of the evening, so if you're able to stay nearby and walk over, it'll save you some trouble! If you're a member of the brides' immediate family, a grandparent of one of the brides, or a member of the wedding party, contact the brides for details on your accommodations at the reception venue.
The good news is that the ceremony will take place late Saturday afternoon with the reception to follow, so if you're not a member of the bridal party or immediate family of one of the brides, you don't have anywhere to be until then! If you do get into town on Friday or early on Saturday, you can check out our "things to do" page for some suggestions of activities, parks, and restaurants to check out around the city.
