Flight
Denver Airport (DEN)
We recommend flying in and out of Denver, which has the most abundant and affordable flights. Denver is a 2 hour drive from Vail Village with no traffic. We recommend giving yourself some extra time on the return trip given the holiday weekend (i.e., budget for at least 3 hours vs. 2), and if you have extra time, have a drink at Elway's at the airport! To reach Vail, you can rent a car at Denver Airport or book a shuttle through Epic (details below).

Eagle Airport (EGE)
Eagle Airport is a smaller regional airport that is 30 minutes from Vail Village. To reach Vail, you can rent a car at Eagle, book a shuttle through Epic, or book a taxi (details below).

Epic Shuttle
Airport shuttle from Denver or Eagle to Vail. Shuttles run regularly; please reserve in advance to secure optimal timing (booking for July opens April 1). Use our link here for a discount: https://epicmountainexpress.com/group_redirect?code=VRMEWEDDINGS It's easy to take an Uber/Lyft up to Vail from the Denver airport, but to get back to Denver, you will have to reserve a spot on the shuttle.

Taxi service for airport transit to EGE or excursions outside of Vail Village. Note: Uber and Lyft are sporadic at best in Vail. Once you're in Vail Village you won't need a car; everything is walking distance and there is also a fantastic public bus system that's free in town. To leave Vail, taxis are available upon request through High Mountain.
