Our story begins the day Katy started at JW Marriott. She was given a tour of our pre-opening office and made the rounds meeting new people. She gets introduced to Corey and they instantly click! Fun Fact: Corey told his desk mate that Katy was his type

Our group of friends from work would plan happy hours, dinners, plans on the weekends, etc every week together. We became closer and closer and our friends would say it was like we were friends for years. We called each other "work buddy"

One night out with the crew something clicked and we admitted there were some feelings there. Given that we worked together we decided to take it slow. The phrase "work buddies" took on a new meaning.

The week before my favorite Holiday....I had the urge to admit I loved Corey, but he wouldn't let me. On Halloween night he said "I love you".

Our love story started, grew, and will always be connected to Nashville. From meeting each other, moving into together, adopting Gnocchi together, and experiencing life together. It's no surprise when we got engaged in 2021 that we would celebrate in our favorite city.

Who would have thought two South Florida kids would find each other in Nashville, TN...crazy, right? After our favorite pandemic situation it only made sense for those kids to find their way back home. With new jobs, adjusting to our new life, getting engaged, and buying our first home together we are excited for what's next in our lives. But first...LET'S GET MARRIED!
