The Lodge at Sugar Bowl

We have reserved all rooms at the Sugar Bowl Lodge for the wedding. If we have reserved one of these rooms for you, we will be in touch with instructions for booking. Please do so by April 15th. Quick note: these rooms cannot be booked through the lodging website; you must reserve them by contacting the hotel directly via email/phone number above (more fun, less hassle!) :) There are a limited number of condos at Sugar Bowl as well. If you are interested in one, please reach out to Katie and Will and we can put you in touch with the Sugar Bowl Reservation team.

House Or Rental

Airbnb / VRBO / Rental

We recommend staying on Donner Summit for the weekend! Serene Lakes/Soda Springs is just about 10 minutes away from Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, the venue. Alternatively, you can look in the Donner Lake area, which is closer to Truckee -- approximately 15 minutes away. We will have a shuttle service to and from Soda Springs/Serene Lakes, so recommend looking there. If you have any questions or need help with booking, please reach out to Katie or Will. We do recommend booking early as options can be limited, especially in the middle of July :)

An alternative to Airbnb for finding rentals is Donner Summit Rentals. They have a wide selection of houses/condos in the Serene Lakes area.

Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)

Reno is the closest airport - it's approximately a 45 minute drive to Donner Summit.

Sacramento International Airport (SMF)

Sacramento airport is 1 hour 40 minutes from Donner Summit. There are more direct flights from major cities to SMF than Reno, so we recommend checking SMF for more options.
