We ask that all guests be vaccinated. Obviously, those under 12 are exempt from this requirement :)
No, it's not a wedding....it's a Celebration of Marriage. We married ourselves in June 2020 and this is the party to celebrate those nuptials and is a thank you for all of the love and support we've received throughout our relationship.
Short answer: Yes! We love your kids. Long answer: We want two things from you for this weeked - 1. Attend the event! and 2. Have fun!! So, do what you need to do with your little munchkins to make these things happen :)
As most of you know, we are not fans of dress codes....but, if pressed to give one, we'll go with Mountain Chic. So bust out your dressy jeans and your fanciest flannel! Basically, just wear whatever makes you feel good....whether it's your favorite puffy vest or a fancy cocktail dress. We just want you there feeling good and ready to have fun :)
Only if you want it to be! We definitely want you to attend the party on Saturday. We've planned some additional events/activities for those wanting to make a weekend of it. Come to whatever sounds fun to you! But, reminder, the Saturday party is not optional :)
We're planning for sunshine with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. The reality is, who the heck knows? It could be hot and sunny or cold and snowy, so watch the forecast (which changes daily) and plan for the worst so we can the have best :) Saturday's event can be all indoors; however, we are hoping to take advantage of the outdoor patio. So wear some layers or bring a jacket!
Sort of....when COVID forced us to delay our September 2020 party, our friends were very kind in wanting to do something to celebrate our big day sooner than later. So, in June we had a small, socially distanced event for people that lived locally. It was never meant to replace our September celebration - more like a pre-party to the Main Event :)
Unfortunately, the best option for Friday night is to drive (if you can carpool with friends that would be ideal). Park wherever you can on the Forest Circle (or Dyer Trail) Don't worry, Lauren's parents have warned the neighbors!
Ideally, you're staying at a place within walking distance of the venue. If you're not, don't fear, there are options for parking at this link: https://www.townofbreckenridge.com/work/parking-community-service/parking The best place to park is the F lot, which is a couple minutes walk to the Quandary Grill and it's free after 3pm. If that's full, park at the Ice Rink - it's about a 10 minute walk or you can catch the free shuttle. Note, if looking at the parking map, the venue is at the intersection of S. Main Street and S. Park Ave.
Save yourself a headache and avoid driving wherever possible. You can walk, ride your bike or catch the free shuttle: https://www.breckfreeride.com/ (for around town) or https://summitcountyco.gov/586/Transit-Summit-Stage/ (to go to Frisco and beyond)
