It's a tale as old as time....girl meets girl at a friend's wine night. Girls become fast friends....they go on bike rides, go to movies and commiserate over how hard it is to date (men) in the world of online dating. After being "best friends" for about a year, girls go on a 3 week trip to Africa. Shortly upon their return, the girls finally realized (acknowledged) that they only have eyes for each other, and the rest is history!

Shortly after surprising Katie with a 40th Birthday Party, the duo embarked on a trip to South America. After a week of hiking in Patagonia, the ladies were ready for some R&R in Mendoza's wine country. While there, Lauren celebrated her 38th birthday, which was spent touring multiple vineyards all while drinking good wine and eating delicious food. The birthday celebrating culminated with Katie (finally) popping the question.
