No. While Colorado is a very dog friendly state, and dogs can often accompany you on many activities, pets are not allowed at the venue.
We are asking that guests wear cocktail/formal attire to the wedding. If you need it, here is a handy guide to wedding attire that provides a comparison of different wedding attires and ideas for cocktail/formal outfits: https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet
The wedding will be indoors with an outdoor patio. On Memorial Day Weekend, the weather can range from the 80's during the day to the mid-30's at night. While not very common, it has also snowed on Memorial Day Weekend in the past. Please keep an eye on the weather and be prepared for all weather conditions.
The venue has dedicated, but limited parking, next to the ceremony entrance. We highly recommend carpooling or using a ride share, if possible.
According to the CDC, COVID-19 community transmission levels in Larimer County are currently low. For this reason, we will not be requiring masks or testing for this event. However, we will keep the windows and doors open in the event space as much as possible to increase airflow. We encourage everyone to be vaccinated and anyone who is experiencing symptoms to take a COVID-19 test.
Yes! Look for more information on possible group hikes and outings by looking at the “Schedule” section of our website. That section will be updated in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
Playing in a high-altitude playground like the Rocky Mountains can be exciting and provide breathtaking views, but it's important to consider how your body can react to the higher altitude. You will need to drink more water here than at home. Being at 7500' above sea-level, coupled with the dry climate of Colorado, causes you to dehydrate faster. We recommend bringing a durable, reusable water bottle everywhere you go to make sure you are getting enough water. Start slow. Even if you are a trained athlete, if you are not used to the altitude you will not be able to hike as long or as far as you normally can. Drink responsibly and plan to have a designated driver. Because of the combined effects of alcohol and altitude, many people may not be in a condition to drive after fewer drinks than they're used to. If you know you suffer from altitude sickness or other medical conditions, or would like more information, please talk to your primary care provider before making the trip to CO.
