We're getting married!

Mutual friends, high school rivalries, and instant messaging is how it all started when we were teenagers. It wasn't until years later that we found ourselves both living in Southern Maine and happened to bump into each other on a Friday night out with friends. It wasn't long after that and we went on our first official date together.

It was Christmas morning and we were unwrapping our gifts from one another before the rest of our family arrived. Bennett had placed the ring behind a cozy new blanket that he had also bought for me that year. I grabbed the blanket to wrap up in and Bennett dropped to one knee, taking the sweet little box from behind me, and asked me to be his wife. I cried the happiest of tears and said, "Yes!" We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
