What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at the wedding venue 15 minutes before 4 PM to make sure you have enough time to park and walk to the ceremony from the parking lot.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
We recommend renting a car either at the Lisbon airport or locally in the Leiria municipality. Our venue is a 15 min drive from Nazare Beach & town center. - If driving from Foz do Arelho/Peniche/Sao Martinho, follow A8 highway to IC1 in Valado dos Frades. Take exit 22 from A8 toward N8-5/V.do Frades/IC9. From Nazare (N8-5), follow N8-5 to Valado dos Frades. Take a left from N8-5 to Av. da Nazare. Take a left at the green sign for "Quinta do Pinheiro Hotel Rural". - If you plan to drive but want to drink, there will be two hired drivers at the end of the night who can drive you (with your car rental) back to your local hotels in the Nazare/Foz do Arelho areas. If you do not come with a car, our drivers can also drop you off at your local rentals at the end of the party.

The ceremony/reception location will have a free parking lot for all guests.

Where is the best place to stay for the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding venue is a hotel and you may check for availability there. However, we recommend staying near the beaches in Nazare, Sao Martinho or Foz do Arelho to fully enjoy what Portugal has to offer. All three are under 30 minutes drive from our venue. Nazare is the closest. You can learn more about each area in our Things To Do section and pick what location/distance from the venue works best for you.

Can I Uber or Lyft in Portugal?
Answer
While there is no Lyft in Portugal, Uber is available in most bigger cities like Lisbon and Porto. In areas like Nazare/Leiria Municipality, the Bolt app is more commonly used so we recommend downloading it if you do not plan on renting a car. Please reserve Uber or Bolt services in advance to make sure you get picked up promptly for any events or travel plans.
