Despite the fact that Kellsye didn't realize that they've known each other for years longer than she thought (apparently Kate's that forgettable), she has been one of Kate's best friends since high school. As her platonic soulmate, Kate couldn't get married without Kellsye beside her!
Alyssa Nycum

Besties since high school, the most adventurous person Kate knows & funniest person in their friend trio (sorry Kellsye). Alyssa's dragged Kate to more concerts than anyone with social anxiety should attend, but it just shows the power of true friendship!
Ken Starks

Kate's ride or die. Kate and Ken first became friends in grad school, but he became so obsessed with her that he followed Kate down south to also work at University of North Alabama. Don't ask him about the time he made her so mad that she blocked him on Instagram for months without realizing it.
Matt Kent

Grad school best friend! Kate & Matt survived the COVID shutdown of 2020 while exploring Ireland together, and he probably only wanted to kill her once or twice during the whole ordeal. Loves glass shelves, gossiping, and tolerating Kate.
Ben Christopher
Best Man
Kris met Ben around 2012 when they became roommates in Glen Burnie. It didn't take long for the two to become close friends, and eventually move into their own place together. To this day, Kris and Ben are talking about fantasy football, action flicks, & gambling on the regular. Ben will be joined at our wedding with his beautiful wife Jessica, who is way too good for him.
Justin Schreier

Justin & Kris met in high school, when Justin was the older brother of a friend. A few years later, while living together, Kris & Justin become close friends. Always down for shenanigans, Justin & Kris have spent many nights discussing random pro-athletes & complaining about Peter Angelos. Justin will be joined at our wedding with his beautiful girlfriend Teresina, who is way too good for him.
Jarrod Bauldree

The best way to describe Jarrod & Kris is as cousins who act as brothers. One of Kris's favorite memories is fishing along the coast of Florida at twilight, where Jarrod cheerfully reminded Kris that this is the time sharks come close to shore to hunt. Suffice to say, Kris promptly ran out of the water. Jarrod will be joined at our wedding with his beautiful wife Katie.

Jim is one of the most affable & easygoing people Kris has ever met, always down to clown with a smile on his face. From trips to Cleveland to late nights playing Cards Against Humanity, Kris & Jimbo always find a way to have a good time. Jimbo will be joined at our wedding with his beautiful wife Kristen.
Lucas Ryea

Kris's only nephew is also one of his favorite people. Watching Lucas grow up into the smart & kind young man he is now has been a highlight of Kris's life. Between Lucas's love for video games and a burgeoning interest in horror films, Kris's sister has said Lucas reminds her a lot of Kris. This may or may not be a good thing.
