What is Mayakoba?

Answer

Mayakoba is a gated complex located 30 miles south of Cancun and 8 miles north of Playa del Carmen. On one side is the Caribbean Sea, on the other side is a series of lagoons and canals that wind their way through mangrove forests. Within Mayakoba are four resorts: the Andaz Mayakoba, the Rosewood Mayakoba, the Fairmont Mayakoba, and the Banyan Tree Mayakoba. Each resort has its own unique style and they are all connected via golf cart or boat. They all offer amazing dining opportunities and on-site activities, including snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, biking, archery, tennis, fitness classes, and tee times at the El Camaleón PGA Championship Golf Course.

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Thursday to enjoy the resort and our planned activities. In order to receive the room block discount, there is a three night minimum stay.

How do I book my room?

How do I get around the resort and the Mayakoba complex?

Answer

The hotels have golf carts that pass every 5-10 minutes between common areas & rooms. Bikes are also available at no additional cost for all guests.

Is breakfast included?

Answer

Yes! Breakfast (not inclusive of alcohol) will be on us Friday-Sunday. The breakfast is available every day from 7:00-11:00am at Cocina Milagro. Just mention your room number and we'll take care of the rest.

Do I need to bring a US plug converter or adapter?

Answer

No, all rooms have US standard plugs.

Question

Do the rooms have hair dryers? Irons? Steamers?

Answer

There are hair dryers and irons + ironing boards in each room. Steamers available upon request.
