FAQs

Question

What happens if Covid-19 cancels the wedding?

Answer

Plenty of people have asked what the Plan B is and when I will know if the wedding is cancelled. It's unlikely my venue will know until May and is dependent on the State of Colorado for guidance on restrictions. We will not postpone the wedding any further this year if it does in fact get cancelled. Karissa will notify the guests if they need to change their plans.

Question

Will I get refunded if Covid-19 cancels my travel plans?

Answer

All hotels booked through my group code will be refunded if canceled before June 15! Most airlines are still offering full refunds or credits if cancelled during the pandemic but be aware of those terms before booking!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Guests are welcome to dress in semi-formal attire. This can be suits or slacks and button up for men, or a gown / jumpsuit or cocktail dress for women. The ceremony will take place outside so ladies should wear shoes they feel comfortable walking in grass or gravel in.

Question

Will the ceremony / reception be outdoors?

Answer

Weather pending, the ceremony will be located outdoors and the reception indoors.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

After you take the 2 gondolas up to Timber Ridge Lodge, the ceremony will take place outside of the lodge in a beautiful clearing overlooking the mountains. A cocktail hour will follow directly after inside the Lodge while the bride and groom take photos.

Question

What's the weather like in Keystone?

Answer

Keystone weather can range from the 60s to the 30s this time of year. It will be colder at higher elevations where there ceremony will take place outside (weather pending). A coat or lightweight jacket is recommended.

Question

Is altitude sickness something to be concerned with?

Answer

Yes! Some people may feel the effects of altitude sickness while in Keystone or at the venue. Please drink plenty of water! Walmart sells cans of oxygen for those that prefer that. We will also provide an oxygen bar for guests at the wedding.

Question

Does the altitude mean I will get intoxicated more quickly?

Answer

Yes! Drink with caution and drink plenty of water.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

After arriving in Denver, drive a rental car westbound on I-70 until exit 205 for US-6E to Keystone

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests not in the wedding party should arrive at the gondola no later than 4:15PM.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

If you are staying in River Run, the gondola is within walking distance and there is no need to drive! If you are staying at a different hotel, shuttle services may be available. If you are staying at an Airbnb, there is ample parking in River Run.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The gondola's are wheelchair accessible as well.
