Karissa and Brian met while Karissa was on her home-finding trip in Wichita. She was out at Emerson Biggins downtown with friends and coworkers and he was out for a friends birthday celebration.

Brian proposed to Karissa at Sand Harbor Beach in Lake Tahoe over Thanksgiving break. The night before he proposed it snowed over 6 inches, which set stage beautifully as they drove around the lake stopping at different sites with their friends Kristen and Connor. Sand Harbor Beach was one of the last stops and arguably the most picturesque. Karissa was taking photos of the views as Brian snuck up behind her and got on one knee.

On our original wedding date we decided to move forward with becoming legally married and we eloped to the courthouse! We wanted 2020 to still be special and it was a stress free intimate day for both of us. That said, we can't wait to be able to celebrate with everyone in 2021!
