We met through our mutual friend Grace when Kirsten came to see her friends in a production of Les Misérables, which happened to have Brandon (and his siblings) in the cast.

7 months after we met, our first date featured a sketch comedy show by Kirsten, ice skating at Wrigley Field, and some Yak-Zies chicken wings.

2-1/2 years into the relationship, it became long distance as we went off to colleges in different states. Kirsten headed to Oberlin while Brandon headed to Northeastern.

After 4 years of long distance, we get to live in the same place again! Kirsten started at Boston University School of Medicine while Brandon was finishing his degree at Northeastern.

After a year and a half together in Boston, and almost 7 years of dating, we get engaged during a Christmas ski trip in Vermont.
