We can't wait to celebrate with you!

In 2015, on the first Friday of our freshman year at Boston University, Kalina noticed Alex in her COM 101 discussion group. After class, she introduced herself and the rest, as they say, is history. Together, we spent our four years at BU exploring the city, sneaking into the lounge at the Copley Plaza hotel, studying abroad in London, England, making lifelong friends and traveling to and from Virginia on our holiday breaks. In February 2020, we moved into our first apartment bright-eyed for the future ahead...and then spent a year inside thanks to COVID-19. Despite being together 24/7, there wasn't a moment where we were sick of each other's company—and we even expanded our family with the adoption of our beloved cat, Honey. Watching movies and going to the movie theater is one of the favorite things we love to do together. In 2022, we saw the movie "Everything, Everywhere All At Once." At the end of the film, Waymond Wang addresses protagonist Evelyn Quan Wang and says, “In another life, I would have really liked just doing laundry and taxes with you." Adulthood can be tedious, repetitive and frustrating, but true love is finding someone who brightens your life even during these kinds of chores and responsibilities. Sitting in car ride home from the theater, we knew no matter where our life would take us, we would want to spend it together—through the ups, downs, laundry, taxes, and everywhere in between. On October 8, 2022, Alex proposed at Hillsborough Winery, a place with many special memories for us. The world we've built together wouldn't be possible without the support, love and friendship of our family and friends. We can't wait to have you be part of our special day.
