The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sport coat.
There are 5 highly rated hotels all less than 10 minutes from the venue: Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach, Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington, Residence Inn by Marriott Wilmington, Homewood Suites by Hilton Wilmington, and Springhill Suites by Marriott Wilmington. There are also several beach houses a little further away available for rent on Airbnb.com that can accommodate families and groups.
Wilmington International Airport is the closest and is about 15 minutes away. Raleigh-Durham International airport and Myrtle Beach International airport are the next closest at about 2 hours away.
The average temperature is high of 64° and low of 51°, although this can vary. We recommend checking the forecast before you pack and bringing an alternate outfit just in case.
To adhere to our limited guest list, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
We are only able to accommodate the children in our wedding party and children 10 years old and up. We hope this advance notice means all parents are still able to share in our big day and will enjoy having the day off!

Yes, there is enough parking for all guests provided in the Wrightsville Manor parking lot with additional parking in designated parking areas on the property. There is NO PARKING ON ALLENS LANE nor on surrounding properties and any vehicle parked on Allens Lane or surrounding properties is subject to towing by the City of Wilmington and we will forfeit our security deposit.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.
Yes, immediately following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with appetizers and an open bar that will continue through the reception. During the reception, a sit down dinner and cake will also be provided.
We request that you do not take pictures during the ceremony to allow you to be fully present and also allow our photographer to do what she does best. After the ceremony, we encourage you to take as many photos as you like and share them to your social media, using our wedding hashtag #ClinktoMink so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
