First, a question for you--Can you please let Katherine or Julio know where you're staying and your room number when you have it?

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the beach, so we'd recommend flats or wedges for walking in the sand. The rest of the night will be on solid ground, so wear what you like! I know you'll all look amazing no matter what, but I wouldn't be disappointed if I saw some tropical vibes in your attire!

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Everything on Saturday will be at La Concha Renaissance Resort in San Juan. The wedding is on the beach, the cocktail hour is at the Salón del Mar, and the reception is in La Perla--all at La Concha. We'll be directed where to go when the time is right!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically Puerto Rico is hot, but breezy--somewhere in between Haiti hot and Wisconsin hot. There are occasionally tropical rainstorms that pass pretty quickly and the sun comes back out.

How should we get around?

Answer

There is a lot to do in walking distance from the hotel on the main strip, Ashford Avenue. Ubers and taxis are easily available, and if you're hoping to do any tours or excursions, they often leave right from one of the hotels.

What if I forget to pack some amenities?

There is a CVS and Walgreens on Ashford Avenue! Do you think Julio would survive without that?! If you need a coupon, find Dennis or Jane ;-)

Are there any other events besides the wedding and reception?

Answer

Yes! We're super excited to host a welcome party Thursday night at Chloe at 1056 Ashford Ave, on the 4th floor terrace. Come by from 8-12 for apps, drinks, and music!

How do we get from the airport to the hotel/air bnb?

Answer

Uber or Taxi--we find it easiest to follow the signs in the airport to the taxi stand. They'll speak English at the taxi stand, you tell them where you're going, and they'll write you a ticket and tell you the price. It should be about $25 + tip to the Condado area. We'd recommend bringing cash for taxis.
