We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It all started when Kait's college academic advisor accidentally signed her up for a senior-level CPR Instructor Certification course as a sophomore. She wanted to drop the course, but the advisor convinced her to keep it (which didn't make any sense, as she ended up having to re-certify before graduation anyway). Laramie walked in, and Kait fell in love at first sight. She would constantly catch Laramie staring at her from across the classroom, and he didn't mind being caught, as he would maintain eye contact for however long she did. They were assigned to be in the same small presentation group, and they chatted about class. However, when the class ended, they both went their separate ways. Kait went on to study abroad the following semester, and Laramie went on to graduate with his Bachelor's. Fate was on their side again, as Laramie had decided to continue on to get his Master's at the same school. The day Kait was flying back to the United States after months of traveling abroad was a disaster. She missed her connecting flight, was stranded in an unknown city, and had already been traveling for more than 24 hours trying to get home. As she called her dad crying asking what to do next, she got a notification that Laramie Immel had followed her on social media. She later found out that Laramie had asked their mutual friend about "the blonde girl from our CPR class" to which he replied, "She is on her way back to the United States RIGHT NOW!" The rest was history, and we can honestly say the universe has granted us many favors. Kait being signed up for the wrong class, Laramie staying on campus to pursue his Master's, us both then landing internships and getting to move together to Charleston, South Carolina, and many, many more. We often reflect on how fortunate we have been for things to have worked out in our favor, but our love, respect, and gratitude for one another has gotten us to where we are now.
