Hector is Lang's middle school friend who Lang's family basically adopted as one of their own. He had long hair back then so he was the 'daughter' Lang's mom never got. They first met in middle school when Hector was trying to borrow a lead pencil and copy Lang's answers in class. Hector went to another high school to find more asian friends like Lang but failed. When Lang went to college, Hector was always reliable and dependable for Momma Hong. They still remain close and hung out since. Unfortunately, Hector is always late so Lang and Kaitlyn had to tell him the wedding starts the day before so he would not miss the afternoon ceremony.
Katherine Huynh
Maid of Honor
Kaitlyn first met Kat when Kat and David were asleep on Lang's couch mid day after AYCE sushi lunch when Kaitlyn and Lang first began dating - Kat and David, the rare specimens that they are, still can be frequently spotted napping on Lang's couch. With Lang and David's incessant trips to Nor Cal/SoCal to visit each other, Kat and Kaitlyn have bonded over countless adventures together. Over the years, Kat has taught Kaitlyn how to work hard, play hard and not to lose your true identify in the Corporate American culture. One of Kat's best attributes is that she is always down for shots, food or go on boba runs to ensure Lang gets his boba fix so he isn't hangry - that type of friendship is priceless.
Edgar Gomez

Edgar is another child-hood best friend of Lang's who lived 2 blocks away since middle school. In high school, Edgar was the varsity Quarterback and Lang was the football stud. Lang was always his best and first option when a football play was called at the Friday night football games. Edgar's hard-work and loyalty are key characteristics he shares with Lang and is the reason they have been close friends for so long. Edgar is now a successful HVAC CEO/Owner who services around the Inland empire, LA county and Orange County. He is available to service any HVACs for all of our wedding attendees.
Dania Viganego

Kaitlyn and Dania became friends after Kaitlyn hired Dania on to her team, making Dania Kaitlyn's first ever employee - and much to everyone's surprise, Dania didn't quit! And instead the two developed a strong relationship while supporting each other through challenging situations. Over the years, Kaitlyn has admired Dania' vibrancy, down to earth nature, and positive spirit - as well as her good taste in food and drinks, while Kaitlyn is glad she has helped teach Dania that life in Orange County is superior to life in LA County!
Victor Navarro

Victor is one of Lang's best-friends since middle school. Victor then found a loophole in the school district system and went to a more prestigious high school with more Asians since Lang was Victor's first asian friend and set the asian bar very high. Despite going to different high schools, they kept in touch and supported each other throughout life, including being corn hole partners. Victor and his wife, Yesenia, recently had a baby on February 1st, 2022 and baby Nate already said Tio Lang and Tia Kaitlyn are his favorites.
Joanne Cheng

Kaitlyn met Joanne when she and Junior began dating - and Kaitlyn likes to believe she played a small part of their blooming relationship by helping Junior craft texts to Joanne while on her Thailand trip prior to their first date. Over the years, Joanne has taught Kaitlyn the tricks of the trade of extreme couponing in the modern digital world - beauty and brains! Joanne also introduced Kaitlyn to her first puppy bff, T-Rex. Joanne continues to bring adventures, laughter, and companionship and Kaitlyn is thrilled to have her as part of her future extended family.
David Dang

David was one of Lang's first SoCal friends who went to UC Davis and was part of the same Asian-American party club ( fraternity). They have been friends since 2008 and David still falls asleep by 8PM when they are hanging out and/or drinking. Despite David living in Bay Area, he frequently visits his parents and Lang. When he is in SoCal and David always tells Lang how perfect and white his teeth is compared to all of his dental patients he has worked on.
Adam Smith

Adam had the fortunate or unfortunate opportunity to have met Kaitlyn when they were in Jr High School through mutual friends. Little did he know that an introduction would have him stuck with a life long friend on the opposite coast, fitting in trips to see other other the years. Despite 3,000 miles of distance, the two have been blessed with being each other's personal cheerleaders, sounding boards, virtual drinking buddies, and meme sharing extraordinaires. Kaitlyn has to keep her eye on Adam though - Lang continues to plot ways to steal Adam to be his friend so they can share a round of beers and oysters while talking sports, cars, and DIY projects.
Evee
Dog of Honor
Evee has recently been a full-time responsibility for Kaitlyn and Lang since the start of Covid and working from home. Prior to that she has been taken care of by Lang's parents. She has a personality of her own and can be very sassy all the time. She is loved by both grandparents and everyone she doesn't bark at. Evee has turned Kaitlyn into a puppy lover so that is why we wanted her to be part of our special day.
