We're so excited to celebrate with you!

You just never know when an ordinary day is going to change the course of your life. We both went to the gym that day to work out, never expecting to meet someone. Auston was boxing and Kaelin was stretching before her lift when he walked by. Of course, he thought she was cute, and since Auston talks to everyone, he gave her a little wave saying hi. After she was done lifting, Kaelin went over to talk to him (which if you know Kaelin, was completely out of character!). We quickly realized that we both love all things active - lifting, exercise or hikes in the woods. What started out as a friendly conversation at the gym turned out to be the start of our love story!

Christmas has always been one of our favorite holidays. In 2018, we joined Auston’s family to pick out a tree at a local Christmas Tree Farm. It was so romantic walking in the cold, surrounded by acres of trees. It didn’t take long until Kaelin found the perfect tree. As she walked around the tree to make sure it was “the one”, she noticed there was already a ribbon tied to the branch. Disheartened, she thought the tree had already been claimed. Auston reached out and lifted the ribbon and tied to the end was a ring. He got down on one knee, in the middle of that beautiful field, and asked her to marry him. That was a Christmas gift to remember.

We started dating on February 16th of 2016 and got engaged on December 16th of 2018. The 16th seemed to be quite a lucky number for us so we wanted to stick with it for our wedding date. We also wanted to pick a Sunday because of a little inside joke. For years now, Auston would ask, “Kaelin, when are we going to get married?”, and she would simply reply “someday”. Auston would repeat back to her “Sunday, that’s so soon!”. We decided we would get married Someday on a Sunday. We looked at the calendar and there were only two Sundays in 2022 on the 16th and January was just too cold. Sunday October 16th was the perfect fit. We can’t wait for you to join us Someday on our Sunday!
