Wedding Party

Monroe Simpson

Little Groom

To Justin (Bobby): I SAID, “YES!” Not just to a ring or a wedding, but yes to a real relationship that makes me happy each day. Yes, to a man who loves me and goes hard every day to show it. Yes, to a love story that has had its challenges and trials. Yes, to a journey that will lead to a destination. Yes, to the hard and difficult times we have faced together. Yes, to a man that cares about my heart. Yes, to my fiancé. Yes, to my best friend. Yes, to my lover. Yes, to a love that God has blessed. I love you Mr. Leflore. Thank you for loving me and choosing me to be yours! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Justin Leflore

Big Groom

To Monroe: I want to start by saying I love you. I tell you every day that I love you but somedays you need to hear more than just the 3 words. I love you for who you are and the spirit you have. You are a light in this world and like I always say you shine that light in the darkest parts of my life. I never knew that love existed like this. The kind of love that gives just as much as it receives. The love that keeps the romance going. The love that enjoys all the simple things as long as we are together. You are deserving of love and light and I will always be here to give you my all and then some. Through any of the trials or obstacles that have come our way you stood firm in your love for me and reminded me that I will never be alone. I want to remind you of the same. Even when things seem dark or there are glimpses of sadness in your life I will always be here. I will always hold you I will always support you. I am your husband. We are forever ♾️ I love you in this life and the next. I want you to walk into these blessings God is providing us. I claim peace in your spirit and joy in your heart. We are walking down this path towards I DO and it’s getting brighter with every step. Take my hand don’t look back - look forward. I love you, Monroe.

Antonio Scott

Best Man

Hello all! I have known Monroe since 2005. He has been a friend, brother, confidant and mentor. I am so happy for him and Bobby. I consider myself a protector of my friend because he is that one four leaf clover that really brings good luck! Monroe, you are my inspiration, the person I admire, the one who's voice I imagine reassuring me when I feel like a failure, the person who I channel when I need strength. You’ve helped me so many times knowingly and unknowingly just through our conversations. You are right where you are supposed to be. There are no words in the English language sufficient to express how meeting you changed my life. I came to understand what it meant to admire someone, to envy a person in a way that was not a reflection of jealousy, but rather a beautiful envy that would lead to positive, necessary personal growth. I could go on and on about you, but I just thank God for his plans on your life. This is such a beautiful moment. You are so deserving, and I am honored to stand next to you as you say, I do. Bobby, take care of my friend. He is a rare jewel. I celebrate you both and I love you!

Justin Smith

Best Man

The Justin’s, how ironic that two people with the same name would be Best Friends. We meet the first time in Midtown Atlanta in the summer of 2013 one evening and we’ve been connected ever since. Thought the love of Fashion, Entertainment, and Traveling we build a brotherhood unlike any other. I’ve traveled the world with my best friend through the years, but in 2021 an immaculate occurrence that would be my soon to be bother in-law Monroe accompanied us out on his first international trip. I’ve been blessed since, to witness a union only God could create. A union that was unlike any other I’ve seen my brother have before. so grateful to have witnessed this love between my best friend and his fiancé, and to have gained a new brother in the process. As we continue to navigate through life’s ups and downs, I know that I can always count on my best friend and his husband to be there for me. Whether it’s a phone call, a text, or a visit, they always show up and show out, and for that I am forever grateful. I am blessed to have such amazing people in my life, and I know that our friendship will continue to grow and flourish for many years to come. Thank you, Justin and Monroe, for being the best friends and family that anyone could ask for. Forever grateful, The Best Man -Justin

Ausha Crittenden

Maid of Honor

Hello! My name is Ausha, and I am Monroe’s sibling. I have the honor of carrying the title as his Best Woman, but the greatest title I will hold for a lifetime is to be called his sister. To have a brother like Mon is to know what caring, love, honor and respect feels like. We have been close since I met him on 11/12/96. Side note: this wedding day should be special since they chose to have it one day before my birthday. Mon, you have never failed to teach me so many things about life along the way. You are the dreamer of all dreamers. You approach life with such optimism and there is nothing you can’t attain. I love having you as a big brother because you see something, and you just go for it; you’re fearless. I am so excited to stand by your side and witness you and Justin’s matrimony. Congratulations to you both and may God continue to keep and be with you! I love you all!!! ❤️

Kameko Ross

Matron of Honor

Justin and I go so far back I honestly don’t remember our first interaction. The 20+ years of memories that we share hold an extra special place in my heart that could never be replaced. Those late night phone calls when neither one of us were supposed to be up and my excuse when I’d get caught was always, “Ma it’s just Justin”. From chasing Justin around the church in my high heels, standing up to guys in high school for bothering him, falling out, reconnecting and things going back like they never left. I couldn’t imagine my life without Justin as we have always stood by each other’s sides through the trenches. Love isn’t always easy to navigate and I’ve experienced some treacherous times with Justin when it comes to what we thought was love. Thank God for that because he was able to be open to love and meet the now love of his life. When I first heard about Monroe I fell in love with him instantly! The way that he talks to and treats my Godbrother is nothing short of a blissful wish. I Thank GOD for allowing them both to be in my life. I Thank GOD for allowing them to meet and build this beautiful relationship. To witness the two of them exchange vows of their commitment to each other is nothing short of amazing and they both deserve nothing but the best. I’m honored to be able to stand with Justin as his Matron of Honor and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this beautiful union.

Byron McCray Miller

Man of Honor

It must have been fate that Monroe and I would cross paths on social media and begin to build a brotherhood. What began as occasional check-in conversations grew into a bond beyond online; one that convinces you that you grew up in the same household with the same values, same morals and same principles. Since 2017, we’ve exchanged stories of family, friends, and relationship, leaning on one another for an ear to bend and advice to consider. Through the test of the pandemic in 2020, where families were suddenly affected and broken in the worst ways, we stayed in close contact sharing fears, faith and fun. We began to refer to each other as “Godbrother” because only God could be the force that connected a New Yorker and a LaGrange native so naturally. When Monroe shared that he had met someone named Bobby, it was heartwarming to see him allow himself to fall in love with no plans to get back up. When I met Bobby in person, it was obvious that there was something special in bloom and worthy of a leap. As we all anticipate their union, I’m personally honored to stand among the Groomsmen court to see this perfect pair exchange their eternal vows of commitment, respect, trust and love.

Demashay Carrington

Man of Honor

I’ve learned quickly that blood doesn’t make you family, and your friends can become your chosen family. Family as defined in the dictionary refers to any of various social units differing from but regarded as equivalent to the traditional family. I couldn’t have asked for a better family member, a mentor, overall, a big brother. The bond Justin and I formed was instant and familiar, like we’ve been running thick as thieves in our past lifetime definite ride or die energy. We met through a mutual friend bonding over work an other similarities in life. Been an inseparable duo ever since that day 14 years strong. I’ve taken lifelong learning lessons from my best friend, shared tears, heartbreaks, laughter and smiles. The moments and memories are endless and I’m looking forward to the ones soon to come. The journey I’ve watched my best friend take with love has been an eventful one. But nothing compares to the joy and happiness I’ve seen since Monroe has come into Justin’s life. Being present an watching the love mature a develop between these two has been refreshing. I know that they will continue to live, love and laugh for years to come. It is a blessing an tremendous honor to stand alongside Justin and his groomsmen. I along with so many others are anxiously waiting to see these two exchange their vows an become one under the divine power of God.

Chasity Huzzie

Groomswoman

Hey y’all! My name is Bre. I met Mon through his sister, Ausha. During my high school years, Mon would take Ausha and I wherever we wanted to go. He bought us food and really treated me as his little sister. He became a brother to me over the years and I’m blessed to know him. Mon, I hope that all your dreams turn to reality, I'm happy for you and Bobby. I hope you receive all the joy and love this world has to offer. You are so deserving and I am so excited to see you both join in matrimony.

Olivia Frost

Best Woman

“As teenagers we often spoke about what our lives would be like. What our love would feel like, with no doubts in our hearts that we would have just that. I was blessed to have forged a bond with Bob (Justin) that was unconditional and unbreakable. In the midst of that I always knew, when he found his soulmate that person would know love in ways that were both tangible and intangible. I’ve wanted nothing more than to see Him cherished in the way he’s always deserved. To be handled with care and consideration. For him to know, without a doubt he would be loved until the end of time. It’s my honor to say I’ll bear witness to all of my hopes and dreams for my friend to come into fruition from the time of the “I do’s” till the end of time. “ -O

Joe Smith Jr.

Groomsman

Words can’t explain my friendship with Justin affectionately known as Bobby! You just physically had to be there; in order to understand the depth of our friendship. We’ve laughed, cried, mourned, traveled, and celebrated some of our biggest accomplishments with each other. There were so many times we had to use each other as a crutch, just to make it through dark days….and that gratifying feeling, of weathering the storm is truly special. ❤️ I remember Bobby telling me about the day him and Monroe first met. If you really know Bobby, then you know, he’s the best storyteller of all time. His captivating words really puts it in perspective. He literally described Monroe down to the fragrance he was wearing. I pray God continues to bless you guys because y’all truly deserve it. Anything worth havin' at all, is worth workin' for and waitin' for. Witnessing a love such as the two of you is once in a lifetime.

Sharicka Harris

Groomswoman

My name is Shericka and I met Monroe while on a detail at the Atlanta to perform Covid screenings for CDC. We clicked immediately, I think it was the fact that we’re both southern and love food. Monroe made working at the airport so much better and I’m so glad our friendship has continued to blossom. We have created some great memories together and I look forward to creating more memories especially on your wedding day.

If you didn’t believe in fate and destiny before, being in the presence of Justin and Monroe is sure to erase any doubts about it. In this new world of social media its such a surprise that these two crossed paths the old fashioned way and have been connected since first sight. What is magical is that in times where love and loyalty is a thing of the past and lasting friendships fade with feelings, Justin and Monroe managed to build a bond that is so powerful, its strength is felt by anyone who crosses their path. I am blessed to be able to experience and witness this beautiful union. I love you two and am so glad to be a sister to this love.

Hasan Green

Groomsman

Monroe and I met in church as he was singing and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ back in 2008. There was just something about his spirit that I wanted to be connected to. He is one of the most supportive and loving person I know. I’ve witnessed his highs and lows with relationships. His honesty is what connected us as best friends, but his love is what connected us as family. I am elated to stand with him as a groomsman on his wedding day!

Franklin Turner

You will truly be able to live a blessed life with him and will always be happy, I am sure. In fact, this is the first time Bobby is with a love he truly deserves! I still can't believe all the frogs you had to deal with before this prince. Monroe is a true Gem! He’s is not just lovely but is a good soul as well. He takes care of you and finds solutions to every problem. The balance you all have is perfect. In every married life, people face ups and downs but the foundation the two of you have build can weather any storm. Having had the pleasure of being part of the reason you two met I pray this love story continues to unfold beautifully forever. -Franklin

Yiyanna Moreland

Woman of Honor

Justin and I met the summer of 2014 after many tried to stop us from meeting lol. Fate had different plans. It was love & an instant bond that no one could shake or move. From bonding over fashion to our morals and sharing the same goals on love, marriage, and success. This journey of friendship grew beyond friendship into family. Blood can’t make us any closer. We have withstood all the tests & trials together that life has thrown at us. God knew exactly what we were missing in this life when he blessed us with one another. I am so happy for the love he has found outside of me. I know with Monroe he is now at ease, happy, and filled with genuine love. I cannot wait to share another milestone of your life that God has blessed you with. “Me & you just us two. “ -Yanni

Jonathan McGory

Groomsman

Hi there! My name is Jonathan but some also refer to me as Jay. I met Monroe in the year of 2017 on Beyoncé’s internet via Instascram(yes I said Instascram). I was living in Texas at the time but after relocating to Georgia our friendship really began to develop. We share many of the same core values and common interest not to mention that our birthdays are a day apart(he’s a day older than me). Our friendship has cultivated a very special familial bond and I love him very much.

Todd Vernon

Groomsman

On my wanderlust journey of find friends in a new city I meet Bobby. An Outgoing on the town tuned into a 5 year friendship full of Laughter, Crazy club nights, and Travel. I’ve grown to love the man you’ve become and we have Monroe to thank for ushering you in to this new era. I remember when you first met Monroe, you were so smitten with him that you couldn't stop talking about him. I could see the sparkle in your eyes and the excitement in your voice whenever you talked about him. It was clear to me that he was the one for you. Over the years, I've watched your relationship grow and evolve. You've been there for each other through the good times and the bad, and you've always had each other's backs. Your love for each other is evident in everything you do. I'm honored to be a part of your special day and to stand by your side as you exchange your vows. Mikalah Kalberer

Groomswoman

“Although Justin and I have only know each other for little short of 5 years we have established a bond like lifetime family. We have been through some pretty tough times together and the personal growth that I’ve been able to witness Justin persevere through has been nothing short of amazing. Not just his career and success but his own personal growth of respect and standards. I remember our conversations with each other over our relationships and struggles and l remember telling him you will find someone one day that will love you ten times harder than the love you give. He was always a hopeless romantic, lol. Loving people through flaws and trying to fix every broken person he encountered. I’ll never forget the day he came in to work with the biggest smile on his face and told me about a person he met that just set his soul on fire. From that point on, the glow he showed that day only grew brighter! Now here we are two souls connected giving each other the love that they both deserve. To be front row watching that love grow day after day has inspired me in so many ways…. I love you Justin… words can’t express my gratitude of our friendship and how very proud of you I am” -Kalah
