Our Story Monroe & Justin There once was a young man named Monroe from LaGrange, GA. During the first re-opening of the world in February 2021, Monroe who had just recovered from Covid-19 decided he would finally venture out of the house to celebrate one of his close friends’ birthday at Door 54 R&B Monday’s Karaoke. By Happenstance there was gentleman named Justin (affectionately known as Bobby) hailing from Milwaukee, WI also in the building that evening as well. Justin had been convinced by his friends to step out side of his normal routine and try something new like R&B Monday’s. Neither one of them knew that it would be the night that changed their lives forever. They stared at each other all night, much to the annoyance of their friends, but never approached each other. Monroe hung around outside just to see what would happen if they were in each other’s orbit. Justin in true Leo fashion went for the direct approach and asked Monroe for his number as he grabbed his hand. Their first touch is something Monroe will always remember. They exchanged information and thus began the love story of a lifetime. From romantic dates and all night FaceTimes to all day texting and a connection that was unlike anything ever felt before Monroe and Justin were locked in from day one. By July these two were committed to one another and on a journey to forever. For Monroe, being with Justin was like being wrapped in the personification of love . He felt safe, loved and seen. Justin’s charm and attentiveness made Monroe feel like royalty and he knew he had found the one. For Justin, he was astounded by Monroe’s beauty inside and out. Justin was immediately captivated by Monroe’s pure heart and gentle soul, finally finding a peace in love that he had always longed for. He knew he had truly experienced love at first sight and encountered his “person”. And so, as the story goes their love grew stronger with each passing day. Justin knew that he was ready to have a family with his most wonderful partner. He planned something so special to ask Monroe a very important question. Now, as they look back on their love story, they know that they were meant to find each other and that God blessed the broken road that led these two souls to each other.
