Priscilla

Matron of Honor

Julie and I met through the Maid of Honor Maria. We all bonded over Twilight! My first trip to RI, Julie had a life sized Edward waiting for me. It was pretty epic! It’s been over 10 years now and although we don’t talk about Twilight much anymore, we talk about everything else, pretty much daily. We both share February birthdays, and have celebrated many of them with a girl’s weekend in Boston. Those girl’s weekends have evolved into couples weekends now, and we invite the guys :) Julie’s always so thoughtful, gives me insight and perspective, and is such a great friend to have. I’m so honored to have the privilege of standing up with Julie and Sean, as Matron of Honor. I can’t wait meet and to celebrate with everyone on November 7th!

“I’ll bring the sarcasm” Julie has known me since birth, and being stuck with three older brothers at home, Julie was very excited to have a girl cousin to hang out with. We were less than a year apart, and I was an only child, so Julie adopted me as her little sister. Our favorite childhood pastimes were sleepovers, coloring, playing with Barbies, playing house (Julie was always the mom), and going to the beach (collecting periwinkles).

Maid of Honor

Julie and I “met” on July 17th 2009 online. We both were “stalking” Robert Pattinson filming Remember Me in NYC. Julie had put online that she was going to NYC if locations changed to email her and let her know. I messaged her to let her know nothing had changed and I’d keep her updated since I was going up as well but would have access to look online. After that we have literally talked every single day except for maybe a handful of days. One of many memories with Julie is in 2011 at her friend Amy’s wedding. We went to the wedding, which was beautiful afterwards we had time between the wedding and reception we went got ice cream then went to the reception and had such a good time. We were dancing eating talking and just having a good time. We got to lose and had just had fun.

I met Julie working @ Medtronic in 2019. She was in the lunch line ordering a sandwich & told the sandwich artist about her allergy to meat & seafood, to please use a clean knife. She commented how my sandwich looked delicious. She was training with another friend & was so easy going and fun to talk to. We immediately bonded over fried pickles, boy bands, celebrity gossip & crazy stories of injuring herself. We’ve gone to dinner & had so much fun together laughing over drinks, Leonardo DiCaprio, inappropriate twitter vids & keto recipes. She is one of the most amazing & giving people in my life & seeing her marry Sean & start their happy life together is a blessing. Here’s to many more extra-large Sugar Factory drinks, HPDB stories & our love for the amazing Marvel Men who keep us happy!

“I’ll bring the fun” Julie and I met at work back in June of 2019. At the time, I was her lead for a department that she just moved into. By the end of the first day of training, we found that we both grew up in Cranston, and by the end of training we realized that we went to the same school, had mutual friends, and had both worked at the same K-Mart. Although Julie and I have only known each other for a short time its feels like we have been friends for an eternity. There hasn’t been a day when we do not talk through IM at work, calls, or through text. Having a friend that you can tell each other anything and everything with no judgment and truly be yourself is really hard to come across these days. However, I have found that in Julie and am truly thankful for that.

Alex Joachim

Best Man

I met Sean during a tumultuous time in our lives. Far from home and bombarded constantly with new challenges and adventures, it was fate that pushed us together. Not only did our mentors have us work together, but he and my now wife also bonded over the South Boston St Patrick's Day Parade. One way or another we were set to be friends. Sean was my groomsman, the Godfather of my firstborn, and now I'm his best man.

Groomsman

Like everyone else involved in this, my life can be divided between Before I knew Sean and Knowing Sean. Unlike everyone else, before I knew Sean he didn't even exist. Watching him grow from the tag-along little brother to a man walking his own path has been an honor. Seeing him never give up or stop moving in the face of adversity makes me proud to be his brother. He's a great uncle to my kids, and I look forward to being the same for his someday.

Nick Ingemi

Groomsman

I first met Sean in the Sophomore year of college in Fall 2005, when at a mutual friend's room we found out we liked the same stuff. We've been on some adventures and while Sean isn't the most exciting person, he's smart and never boring. If I didn't like the guy, I wouldn't be coming in from San Diego in November!

Evan Romano

Groomsman

I met Sean in Freshman Year at UMass Dartmouth in 2004. While this meeting was probably not the best for our educations, we formed a lasting friendship through the magic of videogames and other mutual interests. For years we played World of Warcraft, which helped us stay connected regardless of distance. We've moved on to other games now, but even if it's just an offensive image in group chat or the occasional trip to Petrone's we still keep in touch.
