Julia Montgomery
Maid of Honor
Julia (soon to be Dr. Montgomery!) has been best friends with Julie since undergraduate general biology class in 2015 at St. Joseph’’s University. Julia now resides in Virginia and is concluding her doctoral studies in biochemical sciences. She will be pursuing a career in computational chemistry and drug design. The ultimate best friend duo! One who designs medications and one who prescribes them! Although distance keeps them apart, their Julie/a telepathic energies still remain. Julie’s dog Finley and Julia’s Athena are best friends to this day and video chat regularly. They are anticipating the memories to come as they both settle into their careers, no longer broke undergraduate students.
Jared Zeller
Best Man
Jared met John in 2017 at a party. They then became coworkers at Target and both attended Stony Brook University together. Since then he has been on many adventures with John and Julie making lots of great memories. Jared has been on hiking trips to upstate NY as well as multiple states with the couple (as they progress in their quest to reach each of the 50 states) including NJ, MA, WV, KY, TN, VA, AZ, UT, WY, MT, and ID. The couple has many traditions with Jared that have developed over the years including the pilgrimage to the Sea. Hear. Now. Festival in Asbury Park every September, pumpkin carving every October, and baking an insane amount around Christmas (one day they will make that gingerbread house from scratch), and trading crops from their summer gardens. Jared also has a passion for caring for his fish tanks, Star Wars, decorating his house for Halloween and Christmas, and Lincoln Town Cars (shout out to Lucille and RIP to Vivienne) that surpasses anyone you will ever know. Jared is graduating with his Master’s as he pursues his passion for teaching history.
Dina Velasquez

Dina and Julie met while attending Stony Brook University’s Physician Assistant program. At the time, classes were going back from being virtual to hybrid. The first day back, they agreed to walk arcoss campus to get parking together at the Union Building which is how they got to know each other. From long hours of studying to the point of delirium, sometimes debating sleeping at the school in the classroom, to enduring the steep learning curve as new graduate Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants in Queens, these girls have been through it. They have learned, grown, and eaten so much food in their years of knowing each other and have so many more memories to come.
Jeremy Conroy
Groomsman
John and Jeremy met at Target. Jeremy was always goofing off and getting in trouble while John would rather be anywhere else. Eventually Jeremy was able to break through to John and they quickly developed a friendship. They soon discovered they both went to Stony Brook and would hang out frequently on campus. Jeremy has the unique ability to make any situation a million times better. He is an amazing Super Smash Bros player and a super passionate teacher. At Stony Brook you would see him dress up for lessons on a frequent basis.
Hannah Gallmeier

Hannah and Julie met attending Physician Assistant school by being apart of the nomination committee when classes were virtual in the height of COVID. As classes started to become hybrid, they shared some lunch breaks together where Julie discovered what a Minnesotan accent sounded like and they started to get to know each other. One day when Dina and Julie were studying Hannah walked up with Karen and asked if they can all sit together, and the rest is history. Hannah is now a Colorectal Surgery Physician Assistant in Minnesota and will be getting married October 2024 to her Fiancé Jacob. Although the distance is hard, their friendship is still just as strong. They look forward to continuing to visit each other regularly and share more tuna sandwiches together.
Dan Fierro

Dan and John met in 2019 in the dystopian hellscape known as Northwell Health. Dan knew John was struggling with the massive amounts of work and would help out. They then started getting lunch together and developed a friendship. Dan is also a father to a 1 year old Shiba Inu, Kiba. He is a very devout Chargers fan so he might come off a little depressed but he combats that by occasionally moonlighting as a standup comedian.
Karen Garcia

Karen and Julie met each other while in Physician Assistant school through grueling hours of studying and clinical rotations. Karen is now a city girl, residing in Manhattan and exclusively listens to Bad Bunny. We are so proud of her working as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Assistant in Queens as she follows her passion to educate underserved patients. Karen is a fellow dog lover and joins Julie in freaking out whenever they see a cutie in public. If you are looking for Karen, she is most likely shopping in a Trader Joe’s or Zara somewhere. Karen and Julie look forward to more adventures to come.

Lance and John met in elementary school when Lance and his family moved to Long Island from the Philippines. Lance lived a block over so John and him would hang out on the bus. He is a huge fan of EDM and is known to some as the Ravin’ Raven. He currently is an ADA for the Queens District Attorney Office.
Sarah Campagna

Sarah AKA Ser Bear AKA Sa,Sa is the youngest of John’s sisters. She is currently a freshman at Suffolk County Community College. She successfully completed her CNA and CMA from BOCES. On completion of her associates she will work on getting her Sonogram Tech Certification. Julie has known Sarah since she was 7 years old. They bonded over baking with her easy bake oven. Sarah is super kind person and loves keeping her nails looking drippy (as the kids would say). Sarah loves legos, makeup, and spending time with her niece Ava.
Andrew Chen

Andrew Chen the most wholesome amazing friend anyone could ever ask for. John and Andrew became friends on the cross country team in 8th grade. Andrew was insanely fast and it was crazy trying to keep up with him. While being very quiet and to himself, eventually Andrew warmed up to John and they became close friends. Andrew loves video games, coin collecting, and golf.
Alyssa Campagna

Alyssa is the older of John’s sisters and the middle child of the Campagnas. She is a dedicated mother to Ava and is currently enrolled in Community College completing her associates. She is currently working as a bank teller. She loves instant ramen, taking naps, playing with Ava, and keeping her eyebrows on fleek. As her famous instagram quote would say “Real Eyes, Realize, Real lies”. You have to always keep it real with her. Alyssa is engaged to Ava’s father, Corbett, who she met at her first job when she worked at McDonald’s.
Ava Marie Robinson
Flower Girl
Ava is the funniest and biggest 2 year old girl you will ever meet. She is also the one that turned the Bride and Groom into “Aunt and Uncle” for the first time! She loves her 2 dogs Cassie and Pedro. Her favorite things to watch currently are Bluey, Toy Story, and anything on Disney+. She enjoys when Uncle Johnny plays his guitar as she tries to play along slapping the strings with her hand. She loves playing hide-and-seek and being silly with Aunt “Ju-wee”. Ava will have the honor of spreading her joy on the couple’s special day by being the flower girl.
Finley
Ring Bearer
Finley is a Pit Bull/ Lab/ Miniature Pinscher/ Rottweiler/ German Shepherd/ Husky/ Pekingese/ Supermutt mix, rescue from Puerto Rico, and son of the Bride and Groom. He came into the couple’s lives in 2020 at 4 months old after flying to Miami and being driven all the way up to NY in a crammed car with many other dogs looking for a new start. From then on Finley has been on many adventures including 10+ states and has made many friends along the way. Some of his best friends are Athena (Julia’s pup) and Sadie (Jared’s pup). He loves car rides, boat rides, squeaky balls, going to Petco, and going for long walks. To add to Finley’s resume he will do the honors of walking the wedding rings down the aisle.
