Are kids weclome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! If you do plan to bring your kids to the wedding weekend and need help finding childcare for Saturday night, we've heard great things about Jackson Hole Babysitting.

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles going from Teton Village, The Aspens + Jackson to the venue. We will send out a note to gauge how many people are interested in riding the shuttle closer to the date!

Should we rent a car?

Answer

If you're able, we do recommend renting a car. There is some public transportation available in the town of Jackson, and we will have a shuttle going to and from our wedding venue. However, if you'd like to truly experience the area, it's worth it to have a car available to explore Grand Teton National Park or go shop around the town square. Jackson does have Uber and taxis, but they can get expensive and are sometimes hard to book.

What's the weather normally like in August?

Answer

The mountains can be very unpredictable but August is generally pretty safe. The daytime highs are in the low-80's but it can get down to the low-40's at night! Late afternoon showers do happen, but tend to move through quickly. Don't forget that Jackson is at 6,400 ft so please don't forget to stay hydrated!
