Judy Meerkins

Officiant

Judy is a long time family friend of the Young’s who comes all the way from Minnesota! She has been the officiant for Jubil’s 3 other siblings over the last 19 years. Best for last right? It means a lot to have Judy with us!

Jesse Young

Best Man

Jesse is the older (7 years to be exact) brother of Jubil and the best man. In 2005 Jesse enrolled at Iowa State with his siblings and he was immediately welcomed into Jubil’s circle of friends- for better or worse. Jesse loves music and beer so naturally he invited the bride and groom to see Beck at his first Red Rocks concert- what a show!

Nolan Wright

Groomsman

Nolan, an Iowa native, attended Des Moines University with Jubil and has a been a great friend. This soon to be dad spent 5 interesting days canoeing the boundary waters with Jubil cleaning most of the fish and drying our tent every day. Nolan has a knack for delivering toasts and organizing llama trips.

Josh Peters

Groomsman

Josh and Jubil first met in 2008 while working summer jobs at the YMCA of the Rockies nearby. Since then, Josh and Jubil spend too much time together cheering on the Chiefs, building a homemade sauna and running around grand county. He is the best story teller because he is 80% full of crap- don’t believe anything he says.

Andy Radzavich

Groomsman

Introduced through Andy’s wife, Jubil and “Andy Rad” became instant friends through their love of skiing, riding and fishing. He always seems to be just a little more extreme than his friends but is a always willing to share his secrets to make someone better at their craft. He took a few days off during prime hunting season for our wedding so go easy him.

Joe Grossman

Groomsman

Joe and Jubil were Cyclones together in Ames, IA before they both ended up in Colorado. Now Joe is always in our short list for camping trips and Denver outings. In fact, Joe was on the river with us when Meghan landed her first trout in the Flat Tops. Ps- Ask him about his dog Dani.

Matt Piepel

Groomsman

Matt is the husband of Jubil’s oldest sister and was the first to offer Jubil an “extended stay” at his home in Basalt. He was the first to get Jubil into bikes and has been a great role model. Ask him about Jubil’s 21st birthday and hair bands from the 80s.

Justin Simon

Groomsman

Justin is the husband of Jubil’s twin sister. His family has hosted Jubil for many holidays and a few “extended stays” over the 10 years they were in Laramie. Justin and Jubil each enjoy competing with each other in the annual mini-golf and mountain bike showdown at the YMCA. An engineer by schooling, this dad can brew some tasty IPA.

Dodge Cottle

Groomsman

Dodge and Jubil became friends 17 years ago through Dodge’s older brother Chris. The three of us would stay up swapping stories on his mom’ patio until she yelled at them “go to bed!” Since then, these guys have grown close through their love of whitewater which has taken them on trips all over the West. A professional brewer and father to a geriatric cat by day, this man is wild and scenic by night!
