Oregon Coast
The Oregon Coast is an amazing, peaceful experience. Seaside is the closest town to Portland (1.5hr drive), but there are many other options up and down the coast.
Mt. Hood Wilderness
The wedding is scheduled for the end of winter.... and that's no coincidence! If the resorts are still open you can bet we will be doing some spring skiing around the wedding. And even without skiing, the Mt. hood wilderness is a beautiful place to visit.
Columbia River Gorge
The gorge speaks for itself. Go get some exercise on a hike and revel in the beauty of God's Creation while you're here!
The Grotto
A stunning Sanctuary in the city for those of you who want to have a prayerful and restful weekend but don't have the time or access to points further outside of the city!
Hoyt Arboretum
Another outdoor oasis in Portland, one for nature lovers who want to get lost on some trails and see the incredible living museum of trees in the heart of the city. You can hike to the Rose Gardens or up to Pittock Mansion from here too!
